" He’s back! The man behind the mask! Tommy Jarvis, does the most stupidest thing, ever in horror movie history, by unearthing the grave of Jason Voorhess. Just then, blammo! Jason is brought back by a lightning bolt! Everyone in town, thinks that Tommy is still a killer, everyone but a cute, adorable girl named Megan. Bad news, Tommy! Her dad, is the town sheriff! Jason Lives was the first in the series to receive some positive reception from critics since the original. In the years since "

"Pros: Jason is back! The film’s meta humour. All before Scream, entered the picture. Memorable kills by Jason. “He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask)” by Alice Cooper It’s better, than it has any right to be. One of my favourite films, of the early Friday the 13th films."

"28.9. SkyShowtime Nelososan pikkupoika kaivaa isona poikana, taas eri näyttelijän esittämänä, Jasonin ihan itse (sattumanvaraisen kaverin ollessa mitään kyseenalaistamatta toki mukana) haudasta ja lyö rautatangon tämän ruumiin lävitse, johon iskee salama herättäen Jasonin henkiin. Ruumiiksi varsin vetreä Jason pistää tuulemaan ja kohtaa muun muassa larppareita. Riemastuttavana alkava vakavasti otettava kuutososa ei kaikkia asettamiaan odotuksia lunasta loppujakson ollen sitä ty"

"Rated: R Why it’s rated: Adult situations, Adult language, gore, Graphic violence, and nudity. He’s back! The man behind the mask! And he’s back to kill some more!"

“'Friday the 13th' may have been panned by critics when first released but since then it is one of the most famous and influential horror films, the franchise containing one of horror's most iconic villains. The film is popular enough to become a franchise and spawn several sequels of varying quality and generally inferior to the one that started it all off.People have cited 'Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives' as one of the best of the 'Friday the 13th' films. Having re-watched it since saying in my review for the fourth film that 'The Final Chapter' should have been the last, actually the film was much better on re-watch. While far from perfect, it is agreed that it is one of the series' better ones, perhaps the best since the second film and the best post-'The Final Chapter' instalment” read more

"First viewing - Jan. 13th Paramount+ Voorhees Thursdays I love how this one starts off by realizing New Beginning sucked & opts to ignore it & pretend it doesn't exist. Then they step it up by embracing humor & keeping it fun, from the nods to some names in horror to quips to hilarious kills. The cast is solid, which is surprising for a 6th entry, & there were a few times where I was like "hey, it's that guy". Plus it's got some decent Alice Cooper tunes to boot. It's nothing great, but I enjoy"

“The acting in this film is pretty good despite being used for a shitty slasher film especially the actors playing Tommy and Jason. Either than that, just another standard slasher film. Luckily, the kills are more entertaining than the plot” read more
