There's A Man With No Life In His Eyes..

Fucking awesome chapter! Directed by Danny Steinmann, who is responible for directing such films as The Unseen and Savage Streets. Very well put together and going slightly astray from the masked killer himself. (you'll see at the end of the flick) After a young man is hacked to death by his peer (Return of The Living Dead's Suicide), bodies start to disappear; only to be found carved up and mutil... read more

" Tommy Jarvis (now older, a teenager, and played by a different actor), is at a camp for wayward teens, with him still traumatized by the events from the past. Someone, is killing teenagers at the camp, and everyone is convinced it is Tommy. Or could it be.... someone else? Regardless, for fans of the series, part 5 was were things went downhill, save for part 6. However, over the years, it’s considered to be a fairly average film, that could have been better. The film, featured a early pe"

A new beginning?

“'Friday the 13th' may have been panned by critics when first released but since then it is one of the most famous and influential horror films, the franchise containing one of horror's most iconic villains. The film is popular enough to become a franchise and spawn several sequels of varying quality and generally inferior to the one that started it all of.The fifth film in the series 'A New Beginning' is the most maligned 'Friday the 13th' film by critics and fans, although it has garnered a cult following and its fair share of defence over time. To me, 'A New Beginning' is better than its reputation and that it tries to do something different is laudable. Also do not think it's the worst 'Friday the 13th' film. Having said that, the disappointment is understandable. There are good merits ” read more

Running time: 92 mins Running time: 92 mins Kills per minute: 4.38 mins Coolest kill: Eddie, and death by tree. Lamest kill: Unnamed dude. Favourite death? Roy Burns, who was impalded through multiple places by tractor harrows. Demon’s death by outhouse, however is very memorable. "First viewing - Jan. 6th Paramount+ Voorhees Thursdays I've long been reluctant to watch any films in this series past 4, but Paramount+ currently has 5-8 so I figure I'll just give them a look. New Beginning is pretty stupid & not very well put together. If you're here for the kills, there's maybe 2 good ones. A lot of them are either cut away from so you don't get the full effect, or they're just uninspired. It also doesn't help matters that there's no attempt at building suspense around any "

" Date: 11/13/2020 Viewed: Blu-Ray (Scream Factory) Re-Watch Note: This is one of the most divisive movies in the Friday the 13th series. Growing up, I always remember people either like or hate this movie depends on whom you ask. I always had mixed feelings about this movie because I don't like it or hate it. To me, this movie is alright in my opinion. Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning has some good ideas on paper, but I don't think they were very well executed. I love the sleazy feeli"
