The Third One is the Charm

The series now is a blown out comedy, and they make no effort to hide it, with catch-phrases and there's even a reference to the Three Stooges.

But that is not a bad thing. Bruce Campbell was born to play Ash, so much that there won't be an 'Ash' character in the upcoming remake of the original film, thankfully.

The funniest parts are when Ash is fighting all the little Ashes and when he's about to say the magic words to get the Necronomicon in the cemitery.

Not as good as the other two, but it has a very different plot, is a western, at times you even forget you're watching a sci-fi.

It has a bitter-sweet ending, which closes wonderfully well this amazingly immaginative trilogy.

There will never have another story, nor characters like those in the Back to the Future series.

I know this is going at least to live up to the other two which are among the greatest comic book adaptations of all time.

In my opinion, all hell is going to break lose! Important characters are going to die, Bane will break Batman, then Ras will return with Talia, Batman will dive in the Lazarus Pit and fight back!

No doubt the darkest of the three. Great villains, Captain Rhodes and Bub are the highlights of the film.

The zombie invasion to the bunker in the third act is a very suspenseful and scary sequence.

Scary and surprising. The great George C. Scott is wonderful as always.

As good as the original. Don't be fooled by internet comments on this one. If you still can't watch it because Michael Myers is not there, try not to think of it as a part of the Halloween series, but as something else entirely and you'll enjoy it.

Up to now, Harry Potter and his friends were just cute little kids doing cute magic tricks, who happened to save themselves and their school in the process.

After The Prisoner of Azkaban things start to get really serious, Potter and his friends have a real fear for their lives, once they know about Sirius Black's story and his escape from the wizard prison.

Alfonso Cuarón was the perfect choise for this crucial turn in the plot of the saga, from cute to scary.

Connery steals the show. Father and son have great chemistry. It is always great to see Indy kicking some Nazi ass.

Downey jr. always great as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow does a bit more than just worrying about Iron Man. Guy Pearce and James Badge Dale are great villains, scary and intimidating, specially Pearce since he has more screen time than Dale.

But who really steals the show is Ben Kingsley. Can't say anything more.

The two most famous and loved giant monsters of cinema fight each other! Yeah, King Kong gets a bit bigger here than he was in the 1933 classic, to reach Godzilla's size, but who cares?

Their brawl is great, and I don't get tired of watching it.

Although the first Godzilla is my favorite of the series, maybe this is the film I watched the most, even more than the original.

This is here because of an amazing villain played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

A great and welcome surprise for the series, after two atrocities called Alien vs Predator and Aliens vs Predator 2: Requiem.

This one brings back the feeling, the excitement and one character from the original Predator.

I missed David Niven as Sir Charles. Here, Christopher Plummer plays the part.

But Sellers is genious, of course, and deservingly has all the attention of the plot. Herbert Lom is simply wonderful as Dreyfus, every time hating Clouseau more and more.

The Return of the Pink Panther still has some of the funniest scenes of the whole Pink Panther series!

Mind that I consider the Pink Panther series, only those which has Peter Sellers in them. Not those money chasers done after his death (including the new ones with Steve Martin and Jean Reno).

The Creature here is a supporting character. The main focus is Dr. Frankenstein (Basil Rathbone) and Ygor (Bela Lugosi) both nailed their characters very well.

Not as good as the first two, but still worthy of a look for fans of the genre.

Usually I don't like films which brings characters back from the dead. Usually. Here I like, first of all, because is Star Trek; second, it's the original series; third, it's Spock; fourth, he comes back through Kirk and McCoy. And the reason actually makes sense.

The end of The Wrath of Khan was powerful, emotional and unexpected, but I can't deny it was a pleasure to see Spock back!

The character development is great, it tightens the bonds between the three main characters.

Last but not least, FINALLY the Klingons have a big part in the film series! Their leader is played by Christopher Lloyd! And what he does to Kirk?

How can any reasonable fan not like this?

By far the best of this new Star Wars series. Though, not as good as any of the original trilogy.

It would be as good as The Empire Strikes Back if weren't this unexplainable fixation of Lucas to have kid friendly creartures in his films, here, the Ewoks (and in the Phantom Menace he did even worse with Jar Jar Binks).

But in the overall is a pretty great film, the speed bike chase, the forest battle, the final conflict between Luke and Vader and of course, the sequence in Jabba's Palace in the first act. Pretty awesome!

Lots of people don't like this one. I do, and I go even further to say it's my favorite of the first three X-Men films.

In the previous two films, you always hear about this final war between humans and mutants and the dangerous consequences it might have upon mankind. And here, you finally see it happening, with devastating consequences.

Who complains about The Last Stand, complains about the deaths of key characters and the mutant "cure", but it works very well for what the film proposes, and no one can say that Magneto didn't deserved his fate.

Also, the Beast (one of my favorite mutants both in the comics and the 1990s animation) finally shows up, has an enormous presence, is played by a wonderfully charismatic actor and kicks major ass, which is pretty awesome!
