Definitely worth a watch if you have seen the previous two. The action is there and the special effects are great. Some of the new characters are cool and some are not. For example, the Juggernaught was cool and the porcupine guy isn't. Sometimes the movie feels rushed and doesn't flow very well, but it is an action flick based on a comic. What more can one expect?

I enjoyed some things about the movie but there were others that I didn't. Scott was killed at the beggining of the movie, he never died in the comic and was part of the pheonix storyline. Halle Berry got too big of a part, I guess that's why they killed off Scott. The phoenix didn't look like the phoenix and played a small part in the movie. X-Men III is a good yet disappointing film. Where I think it is flawed is that is a film with a massive ensemble cast with an overloaded mixed set of different stories involved with all of the superheros which is where Spider-Man 3 flawed. That's personal opinion of course. The first X-Men was well made and enjoyable and X2 was an example of a sequel being better than its predecessor with a bigger and darker approach that built on what was introduced in the first and made them more interesting. The X-Men series did however take a big step backwards with X-Men The Last Stand, but while it is the weakest of the series considering the stuff that has been said about it it was better than expected. X-Men The Last Stand boasts great special effects and a visual style that is both flashy and dark, both of which though in an effective way.
