Had some amusing parts, but there was much that was just annoying or frustrating. Considering the subject matter, I am not sure it could have been otherwise. I don't regret watching it, but wouldn't need to see it again.

Wow, this movie was bad. The only redeeming quality was that it was easy to determine the worst movies we've seen this year. Bad story, bad acting, dumb, predictable plot, bad editing. Ugh. Don't even see it once.

Started off funny and very interesting and entertaining. If the movie had continued with its original plotline without the strange twist midway, it could have been a much better film.

Fan fiction with a bunch of characters that had entered the public domain. Lazy writing and too many painful winks to the audience. Cringeworthy. Yet, still entertaining, if only in a trainwreck kind of way.

Very, very weird. It was entertaining, but I'm not sure I really enjoyed it. I was happy to share the oddity of the experience with Kendra, but that might be about it. Not sure if it was just supposed to be an arty movie that was purposely obtuse.

Listed as a comedy, it really wasn't so funny a movie. That aside, I really enjoyed the story and liked the characters. Lots of crazy people in this one, but it was done well and was believable. Found myself rooting for the main characters.

It was OK. None of the characters were ones that you'd root for, only ones that you wish would get what's coming to them. Didn't hate it, but wouldn't be excited to watch again.

Lazy attempt at a movie. It tried to capture the ridiculousness of Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison, but failed miserably. Still, there were some parts that were funny, so it wasn't a total loss. Still, wouldn't recommend this one.

Heard this one was bad, but it didn't prepare me for just how bad. Bad acting, bad special effects and bad fight scenes. After watching how ineffective this duo was at fighting witches, how the heck they survived up to the point at the start of the movie is beyond me. I liked how they tried to expand the fairy tale, but they really did a horrible, lazy job of it.

Enjoyable old one. Most of the story took place in his bar, but it didn't feel confining. Interesting story that takes place during WWII, but is really just about the relationships of people.

Was surprised by the high-quality of the picture. Was expecting it to be grainy, since it is old, and it never occurred to me that it could have been restored.

The characters were hard to relate to, and their relationship was odd. I didn't follow why Paul would chase her. And, it seemed hardly romantic that he was her absolute last choice, and that she only reluctantly came to him when everything else fell apart.

Enjoyable remake of the original. Thought was put into it and the special effects were good. There were a couple parts where you could find some issues, like stereotypical characters or poor thinking, but it was minor and really didn't distract from the movie.

Interesting story that I had missed when it first came out. Holy potty mouths, though; it seemed unnecessary and I can respect my mother's reluctance to let me see it as a kid. Fun to see a bunch of actors I recognize but much younger.

Not sure exactly what I was expecting, but I really enjoyed this one. I think I wrote it off, since I knew that the big "thing" about the movie was the accent, while it really didn't have an impact on the movie so much. Glad I finally saw it.

Somewhat amusing. The issue I have with movies like this (and like "Meet the Parents" for example) is that we are introduced to characters that we are supposed to care about, and I do. Then, we are supposed to laugh at their misfortune, which I cannot since I feel sympathy for them.

Surprisingly funny. I wasn't expecting much from this one, since I had heard it had done poorly, but I really enjoyed it. I was most surprised by the humor. The story was interesting and original as well.

I mistakenly grabbed this one at the library instead of the Clash of the Titans. Though, this seemed to be a sequel enough to the original from 1981 too. Didn't hate it, but it really wasn't very good. Part of the problem is how to deal with gods and powers that didn't really make a lot of sense in the original stories. At least it seemed to try to be original. Some of the fight scenes were decent, but many were only ok. I will concede that the graphics and special effects were good, but that hardly makes agood movie.

Did a very good job of sticking to the book, much more than I expected it to. Some elements of the book were, necessarily, absent and others added. Enjoyable and a good story. Kendra enjoyed as well, so maybe she only thinks she doesn't like science fiction because she hasn't read / seen any that is really good.
