Most anticipated movies of 2013

It's a Martin Scorsese film! Of course I'm interested. The trailer also looks great. I would normally comment on not being a fan of McConaughey, but his performance is actually good judging from the trailer.

Afterthoughts: Amazing.

I saw the trailer before I saw Elysium and it looked great. The casting and Ridley Scott directing it makes me want to see it even more.

Afterthoughts: So terrible! Why did this movie have to suck so bad?

Jim Carrey is in it and I like the idea of him playing a magician.

Afterthoughts: It was very funny. Glad to see that it lived up to my expectations.

I was glad when I heard that there is going to be a sequel to Kick-Ass, but now that Jim Carrey is involved I'm really excited.

Afterthoughts: Entertaining, but also dissapointing.

Saw the trailer before Elysium. It sounds very interesting and I am a huge fan of Tom Hanks, so I will be seeing this movie.

Afterthoughts: Very suspenseful movie with a great performance from Tom Hanks.

The trailer looks great, the premise is interesting and it looks unlike anything Tom Cruise has done before.

Afterthoughts: What a letdown! This was just a bland and unoriginal sci-fi movie.

I enjoyed the first two, so I'm excited for this one. I also like that Shane Black is involved with this movie.

Afterthoughts: Somewhat entertaining, but pretty disappointing.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are hilarious together, so I will definetely see this movie when it comes out.

District 9 was an impressive movie, so it's great that the director is making another film. The premise sounds interesting.

Afterthoughts: It's no District 9, but it's much better than people have made it out to be. It was a very interesting sci-fi movie and the premise was still executed good.

Robert DeNiro is starring in a new mafia film? That alone makes me interested in seeing it. After seeing the trailer I'm even more interested.

Afterthoughts: It was awesome. I also thought it was different take on the mafia film genre.

I said that Parker didn't look like the typical Jason Statham vehicle, but that was before the trailer for this came out. This one really looks like a different film for him and the trailer looks awesome.

Afterthoughts: I really liked it. It was nice to see Jason Statham in something different.

The trailer looks good, the casting is good and it seems like the kind of movie I would like.

Afterthoughts: Hilarious and heartfelt. Loved it more than I thought I would.

Insidious doesn't need a sequel, but the trailer looks solid and there is good chance I'm going to see this movie in theatres.

Afterthoughts: Very good sequel with some very scary scenes.

I haven't seen the other Wolverine movie, so I can't say if it's bad or not, but the trailer looks awesome and James Mangold directs great movies, so I'm sure this is going to be great.

Saw this trailer before Elysium. I haven't seen The Chronicles of Riddick yet, but I really liked Pitch Black and I think I might be seeing this before I see the other movie. The trailer looks awesome too.

I'm anticipating all the Hobbit movies.

Update: Even though I really enjoyed the first movie, I still think it could've been a bit better, so I will lower my expectations just a little bit.

I really liked the first movie, so I will be seeing this one sometime.

It looks like this movie is worth anticipating just for the trailer alone. I'm not a fan of Bradley Cooper, but he might do a good job in this movie.

It's a Coen Brothers movie. Need I say more?

The trailer was very weird in a good way and Paul Giamatti is always great, so this should be good.

The trailer looked funny and it's nice to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt directing it. I'm not sure if it will be playing in my city, but if it is, I will try to catch it.

I hate baseball and I don't like movies based on that sport either, but this actually looks really good and I have yet to see a bad movie from Brian Helgeland. (Yes, I saw The Order.)

Christopher Walken and Al Pacino in the same movie? I'm sold.

I personally think that Gerard Butler is an underrated actor, but he seems to waste his talent on romantic comedies. The trailer looks cool, but the main reason I'm anticipating is because Morgan Freeman is in this one and I have yet to see a bad movie from him.

Afterthoughts: This was pretty good. The action scenes were awesome in this movie.

I like the premise and it has Morgan Freeman who is one of my favorite actors.

Afterthoughts: This was a funny and smart movie that I liked even more than Ocean's 11.

I admit the trailer almost lost me when they mentioned revenge, but since the movie looks pretty good I'm willing to forgive it.

Afterthoughts: This movie delivered what it promised.

It is weird that they are releasing it in 2013, but I'm interested that all the actors act as themselves in this movie.

I actually liked Superman Returns, but then again I haven't seen it since it was in theaters. Hopefully this will be a darker take on the Superman story.

The fact that it's a monster movie is enough for me to want to see it.

What I like is that it doesn't look like the typical Dwayne Johnson action vehicle.

I was sold by the trailer and the fact that it's writen by one of the writers of Borat.

The trailer actually looked funny and it looks different from all those crappy romantic comedies.

Update: Now that I have seen Aubrey Plaza in Safety Not Guaranteed, I am now a bit more excited for this movie than I already was. Sucks that the release date has been changed which means I have to wait longer.

The trailer made me laugh a few times and hopefully the best jokes won't be from the trailer.

Afterthoughts: Fuck me! I just had to jinx it! This was a painfully unfunny comedy and the few funny jokes this movie had were already in the trailers.

The trailer is funny and it has the writers from The Hangover. It probably won't be good as that movie, but I hope it will be decent.

The trailer looks awesome. Even though The Wizard of Oz is a timeless movie, it could be interesting to see how this turns out.

Afterthoughts: The dialogue isn't great, but the movie is worth seeing just for the visuals alone.

The movie has a good cast and I like these kind of movies, so I will be seeing this.

The trailer looks good, but I am concerned about who's directing it. I haven't seen any of his movies, but it seems that his best work is the remake of The Karate Kid. Hopefully it won't be a letdown.

Yes it's based on a Stephenie Meyer book, but it actually looks good and I never get that impression while watching a Twilight trailer.

After Gore Verbinski directed Pirates of the Carribean 3, he made a smart choice to leave the series and managed to redeem himself with an awesome movie called Rango. I'm interested to see how this will turn out although I'm not sure if it will do well at the box office. The movie still looks awesome though.

The first one was a nice surprise, so I am interested in seeing this one. I'm not highly anticipating it because I'm not the biggest Star Trek fan.

Afterthoughts: Surprisingly mediocre. While the special effects were amazing, I thought it was too dark for a Star Trek movie.

The trailer looks interesting and it has a good cast, so I will be seeing this sometime.

I liked the first one, but it really could've been better, so I'm not going to see this in theatres unless people say it's better the first one.

The trailer looks pretty good and it looks like the kind of movie I would like, but it doesn't look like the movie I would rush to see in theatres.

The idea of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the same movie is cool, but thanks to 50 Cent, this movie is in the mildly anticipating category.

Afterthoughts: This movie was awesome. The action was great and 50 was actually a decent actor in this movie.
