A Stand-Up Film

A geriatric film about the end of life and, more so, friendship. Walken, Pacino and Arkin show they can still entertain even with a mediocre production. The main deterring factor was the rape/woman-in-a-trunk storyline. It was convoluted, insensitive and unnecessary to the story. But I did love the "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" finale!

Well, even though it turned out to be watchable, it was ... read more

With this in mind, I wasn't expecting much from this movie but since the ratings were actually decent, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even though it turned out to be watchable, it was still nothing amazing though. In fact, pretty much half of it was really generic or even some serious garbage. At least, they gave us the opportunity to spend a whole day with Christopher Walken and Al Pacino which was pretry neat. I wish they did bring Alan Arkin earlier in this story as it got even better when he was involved. Eventually, it all boils down to the question if you should give the ” read more
