Beware... Major duds ahead...
Hostel: Part III (2011)
I was shocked with how bad this entry was, a slap in the face to the original and Part II. This film was an absolute waste on every level. 3/10 and that's being nice.
Lane Jordan's rating:
Prom Night (2008)
Some unintentional very laughable moments, all mixed in with one of the worst slasher films that I've ever seen. Bland, predictable, and completely awful. Everyone involved should be ashamed... just stick with the original Prom Night series. 2/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
Not anywhere near as good as the original or the semi disappointing I Still Know. This entry was unwatchable and not interesting in any aspect. 1/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
The Last Exorcism (2010)
I was hyped up to see this one and was ultimately let down. A mess with a completely ridiculous conclusion. 4/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
Silent House (2012)
Elizabeth Olsen was great in Martha Marcy May Marlene, so I expected another good film with this one... oh man was I wrong. Seizure inducing shaky cam and an ending that's way too similar to other genre films that did it way better. 3/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
The Unborn (2009)
Easily one of the worst films I've seen in theaters. Boring and cheap looking effects. Odette Annable is cute, that's basically all that this movie has to offer. 1/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009)
Wrong Turn 1 and 2 were alot of fun and personal favorites of mine... this sequel on the otherhand is a big letdown. Cheap CGI and a messy plot... not to mention an ending that is too lame for words. In my opinion, the series was revived a little with part 4. 4/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
The Devil Inside (2012)
This landfill site was even worse than The Last Exorcism. Laughable moments and one of the worst plots that I've seen on the big screen. The ending was a joke and an insult. Avoid this turkey. 2/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
One Missed Call (2008)
The worst of the asian remake craze. I was completely stunned at how awful this piece of crap was. One of my most hated films of all time, wish I never gave it a watch. Somebody send me a time machine! 1/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
The Eye (2008)
I still need to see the original... should have before checking out this film. It felt very been there, done that... and Jessica Alba didn't bring anything to the table. A big disappointment in my book and overall an extremely forgettable film. 4/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
The original is a good flick, so I was looking forward to see how the remake handled the story. You know how it goes, this is easily one of the worst horror remakes ever. Horrendous CGI and a pace that failed to keep my attention. 1/10
Lane Jordan's rating:
The Ring Two (2005)
HORRIBLE sequel to the really good remake. This film was pointless and made me role my eyes multiple times. An obvious cash grab. 2/10
