Philip Banks (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)
Philip Banks is defiantly everyone's favorite father on TV and mine as well. He shows his great father skills towards his children and even his nephew Will Smith. Despite not sharing a blood relation, Philip treats Will like his own son which he doesn't admit early on the show but during the years he bonds with him as he says that he knew what it was like to grow up in the hood. Philip is also defends his children whenever they are in trouble. When Ashley gets bullied in school, the bully's parents start saying bad things about Ashley which led Philip punching the father of the bully. Even when Will got hustled at a pool bar, Philip went down there and hustled the man himself, winning back Will's money. That's why Philip Banks is the greatest father on TV.

Sandy Cohen (The O.C)
Sandy Cohen is defiantly the coolest father on TV. He's smart, funny and sarcastic as well. Sandy proved to be a great father, especially when he gave a home to a troubled teen, Ryan Atwood from Chino who was kicked out by his mother, Dawn. He gave great advises to Seth and Ryan about relationships, love and family. Along with being Ryan's guardian he is also his lawyer which he drags him out of trouble at times. And oh yeah, Sandy taught everyone the importance of breakfast, especially bagels. That's why he's one my favorite fathers on TV.

Jonathan Kent (Smallville)
Jonathan Kent is another great and one of my favourite fathers. His job as protecting Clark Kent's secret really shows what a true father he is. With every ability Clark learns, Jonathan Kent is always there to help him with his abilities. Overprotective over his alien son, Jonathan is willing to do anything to protect is son's secret such as breaking the law, take on the Luthors and even going to Jor-El for help and even if it kills him. The great sacrifices he made for Clark showed what a true father he was and one of my favorites.

Homer Simpsons (The Simpsons)
Homer Simpson has to be one of thr best fathers and is one of my favorite. Despite him being a dumbass character, Homer makes up with his great father skills with Bart, Lisa and Maggie. Even most of the times he straggles Bart, Homer shows fatherly love to him at times.

Michael Kyle (My Wife and Kids)
Michael Kyle is another great father on TV. His great father skills are funny at times. Despite him being a great father an all, Michael loves to have fun with his kids, torturing them with his crazy schemes against them. Mostly towards Claire which she's pretty and he gets overprotective with because how boys would react towards her which he warns her about. He even has great discipline skills. That's why he's a great father.

Jack Bristow (Alias)
Jack Bristow is a great TV father. He wasn't the greatest father in the beginning but when working with his daughter, Sydney Bristow as double agents for CIA and SD-6, he is shown as a great father. He is willing to do anything to protect her which would include, breaking the law, going rogue and even killing just to save her if she's in deep trouble.

Jack Bauer (24)
Jack Bauer is the most badass character of all time. The guy tackles and kills criminals and terrorists and still has time to be a father to his daughter Kim Bauer. Although at times Jack is not considered a great father to Kim but he shows that he would do anything for her. Even kill someone and going against CTU just to save her at times.

The famous "Code of Harry," is a set of guidelines created by Harry Morgan to help Dexter Morgan channel his need to kill against the bad guys. The rules include: Never get caught and never kill an innocent. Even when he's dead, Dexter see's Harry as a guardian angel, close to him, giving him advise about his next victims or his relationship with his step-sister, Debra Morgan.

John Winchester is a badass father but was hardly around to be with his sons, Dean and Sam. After his wife, Mary was killed by a demon, John becomes a hunter, killing supernatural beings. When he returns to his sons, John shows that he's a good father, teaming up with his boys to hunt and kill the demon who killed Mary.

Martin Bohm (Touch)
Martin Bohm isn't no Jack Bauer but Martin shows what a great father he is. Overprotective over his son, Jake who is on of the 36 and gets tracked by the bad guys. Martin becomes a tough father to protect him from the bad people who want to experiment on Jake's mind and broke laws at times which made him fight, threaten and even blackmail people to save his son.

Hal Wilkerson (Malcolm In The Middle)
Hal is a relaxing father who loves his five kids. Although at times, Hal can go a bit crazy at times. But Hal has show in several episodes refer to him as a former rebel and troublemaker, much like his sons which sometimes he joins his sons such as fighting with clowns who insult Lois on her birthday.

Dexter Morgan (Dexter)
Dexter Morgan is a serial killer who also has a son called Harrison. Dexter is the kind of father who cares for his son. Even after killing his victims, Dexter has always time to come home and tuck his son in.

Lionel Luthor (Smallville)
Lionel Luthor is not the greatest father on TV but defiantly one of my favourites. The Luthors share a distance father and son relationship. But you got to love how Lionel lectures Lex about his life which includes morals, famous historic quotes and even comparing historical people to how they achieved in life. At times Lionel is show to be a good father but Lex rejects his love which he doesn't allow Lionel to be part of his life.

Stan Smith (American Dad)
At times, Stan Smith can be a lousy father who doesn't care much for his family. But he proves time again that despite his strict rules, he can be a good-loving father to his kids. Even considers Roger the alien like a children to him. He defended Hayley's honour when he fought his boss, Avery Bullock who bad mouthed her personality.

Cliff Huxtable is maybe the best fathers ever on TV. Cliff has everything to be the best dad. He makes jokes around people even his family despite him being a good hearted father. The way he talks is just funny. Always have to laugh.

Lincoln Burrows (Prison Break)
Lincoln Burrows is a great father to L.J (Lincoln Junior) despite him being a criminal. At times, he shows that he's willing to do anything to save his son, even thinking about escaping Fox Prison to save him but gets stopped by his brother, Michael Scofield. Once he escapes, the first thing he does is track down his son and reunite with him on the run from Alex Mahone. Lincoln and L.J also love blueberry pies which he requests before he gets execution.

Of course Goku is a great father. He'll do anything to protect his family from evil like he did against Raditz who kidnapped Gohan. He even enjoys family time with Gohan and Goten by fishing, training or just eating Saiyan style.

Jack Geller (Friends)
Jack Geller is funny, cool and a great father. Maybe one of the underrated best fathers on TV but he's defiantly one of my favorites. He shows love for Ross and Monica but Jack favours Ross over Monica because of his loveable nature over Monica's silly behavior. However, unlike his wife Judy, Jack is more sympathetic towards her than she is: He told her to ignore her mother's comments, consoled her after her break-up with Richard and even gave Monica his Porsche after her childhood things were destroyed by a flood.
