"Pros: James Caan It’s a exceptionally well made crime heist movie, that is very tense. Los Angeles, and its back ground. The soundtrack by Tangerine Dream and Craig Safan. The heists themselves. It’s one of Michael Mann’s best films. The film, feels very dark and gritty."
"Rated: R Why it’s rated: Profanity, Adult situations, profanity, and brief nudity."
" "I have run out of time. I have lost it all. So I can't work fast enough to catch up. I can't run fast enough to catch up. And the only thing that catches me up is doing my magic act." Written by Michael Mann Music by Tangerine Dream Cinematography by Donald E. Thorin Editing by Dov Hoenig "

"FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★★½ NOTES: A print imported from America (could tell because it cut off on the R rating card). Dustier than honestly anticipated and the projection could have been more crisp, but around half of the film was filmed in the night time and they are sights to behold on this print. Changeovers are as you’d expect, but the transitions are seamless. DATE: August 23rd 2021 CINEMA: The Prince Charles Cinema LOCATION: West End"

" Cast : James Caan, Tuesday Weld, Willie Nelson, Jim Belushi What was it about? A former ace safe-cracker is trying to go straight--if he can score one last big heist for the mob. My two cents: Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this flick but since I’m a huge fan of Michael Mann’s work, I was really eager to check it out. Eventually, even though it is one of his more obscure movies, I was actually impressed by the damned thing and, in my opinion, it is easily one of his bes"
" Date: 8/21/2020 Viewed: Blu-Ray First Viewing Note: Michael Mann is one of my favorite film directors and I never saw this movie until now. People have recommended this movie to me for ages, but I never had the opportunity to watch it. Thankfully, I was able to buy the Criterion Blu-Ray a while ago and I finally sat down to watch this movie for the first time. After watching this movie for the first time, I thought this movie was awesome. This may be my favorite Michael Mann movie yet. I lo"
" Notes: Eventually, even though it is one of Michael Mann's more obscure movies, I was actually impressed by the damned thing and, in my opinion, it is easily one of his best directing efforts. Indeed, I always had a weak spot for heist features and this flick is, by far, one of the best I have ever seen in this genre. Indeed, right from the start, you get an amazing opening scene during which you have one of the most realistic heist I have ever seen in a movie. Apparently, the burglary tools u"
