"FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★★½ NOTES: A rarely screened UK print presented by Ghibliotheque. The projectionist did not screw around, screening the film in perfect focus and although part one of The Second Renaissance was overlaid by some vertical lines, the rest of the print looked spectacular. The sound was also tremendous, that is until a point in Matriculated when the sound cut off for a second, leaving the rest of the print’s volume and audio frequency reduced. This did not spell g"

" Many years earlier, I watched a movie called Heavy Metal. And though it lacked the technical and story skills required to make it something really worth mentioning, I did see in it a potential for an interesting anthology series whose rock'roll/sci-fi/animated integrated format was bound by neither PC rules or those that result from the kid-targeted genre.
