"31.3. 2020 Hitchcock's "Saboteur" is simply a perfect spy thriller. It doesn't have any empty nor meaningless moments but every scene develops the story and the atmosphere. WW2, spies, totalitarianism, democracy, idealism, justice, and injustice are the main themes of the film. "First viewing - Jan. 19th I knew nothing about Saboteur going into it, and wound up really enjoying it. The cast is especially good, and full of memorable characters. Watching Lane and Cummings play off each other is often a joy, but the supporting characters may be even better. The plot is fairly simple, but had enough surprises along the way that it works very well. It's not great, but I'd gladly sit through it again."
