"First viewing - Feb. 15th I can't honestly say why I didn't watch this back in the '90s, but regardless I skipped it. Turns out it was almost perfectly timed, as the day after I saw it was Ice T's birthday. It's an interesting and entertaining film, following both Snipes's character's gang as they rise to power and the undercover cop working to bring them down. There's some excellent social commentary about how the justice system works, and I really appreciated that aspect the most. Snipes chew"
