" Brian isn't scared of the monster living under the bed. On the contrary, when he gets to know the wild-eyed boogeyman, Maurice, the pair become fast friends. During the night, Maurice takes his young charge into the netherworld of monsters, where they have a great time making mischief in the lives of sleeping children. But Brian's opinion of Maurice and his freewheeling lifestyle changes when he discovers that he himself is turning into a monster. Little Monsters is a 1989 American comedy fi"
"Under the bed. Itโs under your bed, in your bedroom. Why you wouldnโt want to visit: Sure, there is junk food, video games, and fun. But stay there along enough and you will become a monster."
"The film being surprisingly dark for a kids film, combined with itโs crude humour, and the idea that the parents where always on the verge of some sort of break up, made me feel really uncomfortable having seen it. But now, I enjoy the movie at more now. The special effects and Howie Mandell may have played a huge part in me liking it a bit more now."
"Doing bad things and getting away with it, sounds like a good idea at first. Direct actions, have direct consequences. And also, friends help friends, and not all monsters are monsters."
"The monster land under Brian's bed looks, fun and enjoyable, full with junk food, toys, and all sorts of goodies, but if you stay down there long enough, you risk turning into a monster. Plus, the pranks pulled in the film, especially on the girl, that "supposedly Brian, kind of sort of likes", are more mean spirited, than funny. Heck, Brian's parents even appear to be on the verge of divorce, though out the course of movie! "

"First viewing - May 18th The kiddo wanted to watch a movie, and after digging through all the options available on Hulu she couldn't make up her mind. Then I spotted this and said we'd just watch it. One thing that struck me is that it's listed among the kids films, but there's a lot of expletives throughout the film. How it's PG and not PG-13, I'm not even sure. Aside from that, I appreciated the ideas and concept of monsters living under the bed and having their own world and odd rules. Howie"

" Familiar Actors: Fred Savage Howie Mandel Daniel Stern Rick Ducommun Frank Whaley Ben Savage and Devin Ratray True Rating: 6.3/10 Body Count- 2 Note: Reminded me of Don't Look Under the Bed which I enjoyed a lot as a kid. This was just kind of okay."
"Because of a fire that destroyed costumes and props for the film, filming was pushed back two weeks. The film was originally set to be distributed by Vestron and a trailer was even created by Vestron that was advertised on some of their VHS releases, but due to Vestron's financial difficulties at the time, the film was sold to United Artists, although Vestron did retain some foreign rights to the film."
