For many it’s the worst film, of the Friday the 13th series, and I also didn’t like it, just like everyone else.
But now, I like the movie a lot more.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
I didn’t like the movie at first, because I found it to to be too messy, bloody, and over the top.
But now, it’s one of my favourite horror films, possibly ever.

I have to admit, I was the many that didn’t like the movie, at the time.

Jennifer's Body (2009)
A film that I didn’t like at the time, but now it’s a movie that I enjoy a lot more now.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
High Spirits (1988)
The over tone of the film, being more over the top, than scary may have played a big part, in not liking High Spirits, but now I find that it’s actually a pretty ok movie.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Ghoulies (1984)
I was freaked out by the trailer, which creeped me out and this is probably what shaped my opinion on the film for quite some time.
But however, a recent rewatching of it changed my mind.
It’s a cheesy, silly, and juvenile movie. But that’s what makes it fun!

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Hudson Hawk (1991)
I didn’t like Hudson Hawk when I first saw it, and I think it’s because it was marketed as a action movie, but now I can’t happen but think if it was marketed as the comedy, that it really was, it would gone over a bit more.
It’s a odd, quirky, and fun movie.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Rad (1986)
I didn’t like the movie at first, but now I kind of like the film.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
I liked (sort of?) the movie, when I first saw it in theatres. A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film? With them time travelling? Sign me up!
Having rewatch it, I have to admit, between it’s over reliance on at the time pop culture jokes and references, it’s clunky special effects, and lack of Shredder, took things down a peg for me.
Now I think, it’s just a ok movie, at best.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Jawbreaker (1999)
It felt too much like the movie, Heathers for my liking when I first saw it, and took me three viewings, to enjoy the movie.
And now, I think it’s actually not all that bad.
Fun fact: This is the first movie, I remembered seeing one of my favourite actress, of time, Judy Greer being in a movie.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The film being surprisingly dark for a kids film, combined with it’s crude humour, and the idea that the parents where always on the verge of some sort of break up, made me feel really uncomfortable having seen it.
But now, I enjoy the movie at more now. The special effects and Howie Mandell may have played a huge part in me liking it a bit more now.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
A change in tone, Freddy Krueger being a bit out of place, and the fact that seemingly since everyone else hated the film, I felt like I was obliged to also hate it too.
But now, it’s one of my favourite films, in the series!

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
I was bored, the first few times, that I saw 2001: A Space Odysesy, probably it’s time length and seemingly ponderous plot had something, to due with it.
But now, I love 2001: A Space Odyssey. It’s a really great film.
But now, I love 2001: A Space Odyssey. It’s a really great film.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Like with practically everybody that saw it, I was in the very high opinion that not only, was this sequel highly not needed, but was also not all that great.
With a recent rewatching, I liked it a bit more, than when I first saw it.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Mannequin (1987)
It took a while, to get into liking Mannequin, but after the fourth viewing, I fairly enjoyed a lot more.
Granted, it’s still by no means a great film, but I like it more now.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Dracula (1992)
I found it be too boring and pretentious (maybe it’s lengthy time and it’s artsy approach, had something to due with it?) when I first saw it.
But now, it’s one of my favourite vampire films, and films with Dracula in it.
But now, it’s one of my favourite vampire films, and films with Dracula in it.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Speed Racer (2008)
Another movie, people didn’t care for. Myself included.
It was too hyper kinetic, over the top, and crazy.
But now I realize.... So was the original TV series.
This could be dare I say it.... One of the best live action adaptation of animated series, possibly ever.
I am very sorry, that it took me this long to figure that out.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
I didn’t like A Clockwork Orange, at first. Mostly, because it was insanely dark, brutal, and violent.
But in watching the film, I realized.... “That’s the whole point of the film.”
And now, I love the movie. I even had the honour of meeting Malcolm McDowell at a comic book convention, and got his autograph!
Needless to say, it’s one of my biggest highlights of my life.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Pet Sematary Two (1992)
I initially didn’t like the film, given it’s more of a dark comedic film, than the first movie, which granted had it’s dark comedic moments, the tone was consistent throughout.
However, after rewatching I had to admit. It’s actually not all that bad.
With Clancy Brown, being the movie’s main highlight.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Weekend at Bernie's (1989)
I didn’t care for Weekend at Bernie’s at first, given that I was not only puzzled by the concept, but also thought the humour was decidedly too juvenile, for my taste.
But it’s light breeziness, the chemistry between Jonathan Silverman and Andrew McCartney, and the movie’s commitment to itself, won me over.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Graveyard Shift (1990)
I didn’t like Graveyard Shift, because it’s premise was hard to take seriously, but in rewatching it, I fell in love with just how bat **** bonkers, it is.
This is a perfect late night film watch.
This is a perfect late night film watch.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Psycho (1998)
A lot of people hated this film, given it’s a remake of a brilliant movie.
So what is the point?
Seeing it again, I appreciate it for it’s sure nerve, it’s well made, and an experiment.
Can one remake a classic film, and update it and have it still be fresh?
The answer is.... Yes.
The remake is oddly effective, and haunting.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Observe and Report (2009)
I didn’t care at first for the film, mainly because even though it’s a comedy....
It’s a decidedly bleak, ugly, and mean spirited one.
Rewatching, I realize now. That was the whole point.
One that I missed out on.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Creepshow (1982)
I didn’t always love Creepshow. With my first time seeing it, it freaked me out.
The final segment and the abundance of insects, many have been it’s breaking point for me.
But now I love this crazy, scary, movie.

But now I love this crazy, scary, movie.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
For some this was the worst film in the series (What? A Halloween movie? With no Michael Myers?), and convoluted plot that makes no scene.
But in retrospective, that’s what made it great.
It’s a movie that dared to be different. I also didn’t like the movie at first.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Village (2004)
I thought it was a okay movie, a slow burn of a movie.
But now, I find it to beautifully and visually stunning, and hauntingly effective.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Super Mario Bros. (1993)
As a fan of the video game, I was not happy of how it was made into a movie.
Now? It’s not great, but it’s actually pretty fun.
And very strange. Which makes it even more, of a reason to watch it.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Waterworld (1995)
Long, plotting, and overdone, it’s a film, that requires multiple viewings to fully enjoy.
Now? I love how risky, go for broke, and bombastic Waterworld is.
Now? I love how risky, go for broke, and bombastic Waterworld is.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Scooby-Doo (2002)
Same reason as Speed Racer. Now, I actually find Scooby Doo, to be actually not all that bad!
And kudos goes to Matthew Lillard, for honouring the spirit of role that Casey Kasem made famous.
I now can’t imagine anyone else than Lillard or Kasem as the voice of Shaggy.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)
One of the most controversial films ever. When I first saw the movie, I thought it was cheaply, cheesy, and revolting.
But now? I freaking love how wonderfully subversive, Silent Night, Deadly Night is.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982)
Terrifying and visually stunning, I ended up getting into the music of Pink Floyd years later.
And that’s when I gave it another chance.
Not everyone is going to love this first film, and it was a while before I end up liking Pink Floyd: The Wall.

The Care Bears Movie (1985)
It’s cute, and cuddly and decidedly overly toy centric.
But eventually I warmed up to it.
The film is pretty overall harmless, if anything else.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Not neatly as great as the first movie, but it’s decent enough.
Not unlike the first movie, it took another viewing to get into it.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Children of the Corn (1984)
A fairly average movie, that is decidedly more scarier than when I first saw it.
Having seen only a few Stephen King adaptations, I had very little to compare it to.
But now it’s not that bad of a movie, actually.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
A movie that over a period of time, garnered a cult following, however credits hated it.
However, it’s better than it lets itself out to be.
And I didn’t know it at the time, but it was very first introduction to Daniel Stern and John Goodman.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Police Academy (1984)
It’s silly, juvenile, and some of the humour hasn’t aged well, and I didn’t care for Police Academy originally.
But now it’s not that bad, all things considered.

Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Altered States (1980) (1980)
It’s odd movie to be sure, and Ken Russell films are not for everyone.
But it’s a movie, that is definitely one to watch.
It took me a while to get into, but however it has an interesting premise, great performances and is visually something else all together.

If anything it’s at least for me, a guilty pleasure movie.
It just took a few viewings, to get to that point.
