Since this movie has a pretty good reputation, I thought I should give it a try. Basically, it is a decent and really entertaining WWII feature. To be honest, it might not be really original or mind-blowing but it was still a nice watch. Enjoy cast and production values and a very effective bot not brilliant plot hunged over a sharp cliff with a mouth and two iconic cannons. Some hard stereotypes you can forgive (hot tempered greeks Papas and Darren, btucher becomes coward and then butcher Stanley Baker, easygoing Niven faced by Peck with taking decisions) becuase they weren't too exploited then.
