Well I didn't remember this until just recently. I thought wow the kid from Gotham is already getting blockbuster roles. It seems to be your typical PG-13 type of horror. Peter Taylor, his wife Bronny and their two children return to Los Angeles after a fun-filled vacation to the Grand Canyon. Strange events soon start to plague the family, including young son Michael's increasingly erratic behavior. The Taylors learn that Michael brought back some mysterious rocks that he discovered inside a cave. Unfortunately, something followed them home as the clan now find themselves in a battle with a supernatural force that preys on their worst fears.

Well, to be honest, I didn’t care much about the damned thing after all. I mean, it was visually not bad but everything in the story was just so derivative and barely entertaining at all. For example, each character in this family had their own struggle (the boy was autistic, the girl was anorexic, the mother was a recovered alcoholic and the father had cheated on his wife) and all these little dramas were not developed whatsoever and even rather poorly written (seriously, nobody figured out before that Stephanie had stashed 100 of jars under her bed?!?).
