Brutal, violent and full of twists, Oldboy is about a man that was kept imprisoned for 15 years without having any idea why. After he is released he tries to find the one that locked him away and get revenge.

A little guilt goes a long way.



The Machinist is about guilt and about what it does to you. Christian Bale's acting is simply amazing.

Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? [..]A man that I will never forget.

Do you want to know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can't savor all the... little emotions. In... you see, in their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I know your friends better than you ever did.



One of my favorite movies. The acting is brilliant and so is the story. In my opinion it is the best part of the trilogy. Also, the Joker is one of my favorite characters played by one of my favorite actors, Heath Ledger.

A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy's shoulder to let him know that the world hadn't ended.



I was a bit disappointed, I expected a better ending. Also, Bane wasn't as good a villain as the Joker was in The Dark Knight, but The Dark Knight Rises is still much better than the average superhero movie.

No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.



Started watching it at school, but didn't manage to finish it. I'm still in love with Scarlett and her passionate way of living.

It was good, but not as good as I expected after all the hype surrounding it.

Short people have long faces, and long people have short faces. Big people have little humor, and little people have no humor at all.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.



Loved it.

I was ruined by a king like you once. I replaced his queen. An old woman. And in time I too would have been replaced. Men use women. They ruin us and when they are finished with us they toss us to the dogs like scraps.



I loved the visuals and liked the story, but Kristen Stewart's acting and lack of facial expressions was as bad as it could be.

No matter how big a splash you make in this world whether you're Corey Feldman, Frankie Muniz, Justin Bieber or a talking teddy bear, eventually, nobody gives a shit.



I'm not the biggest fan of comedies because they are very cliché, but this one was a little bit better that most.

It's just murder. All God's creatures do it. You look in the forests and you see species killing other species, our species killing all species including the forests, and we just call it industry, not murder.

You are the husband they never had! You are that dreamboat guy that never came along!



Watched it with my friends and we were all like: "why?..".

We knew the girls were really women in disguise, that they understood love, and even death, and that our job was merely to create the noise that seemed to fascinate them.

I'm lucky. I feel lucky because it's wrong, Danny. It's wrong and it was eating me up, it was going to kill me. And I kept asking myself all the time, how did I buy into this shit? It was because I was pissed off, and nothing I ever did ever took that feeling away.



This goes straight to my favorite movie list.

There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.



Finally a curly-haired Disney heroine. I've been waiting for that ever since I was born :). It's a good life lesson.

Hubert: I wasn't born to have a mother.
Julie: Maybe your mother wasn't born to have a son.



J'ai tue ma mere is a brilliant story about a 16 gay French boy who's in conflict with his mother.

Sam: Why do I and everyone I love pick people who treat us like we're nothing?
Charlie: We accept the love we think we deserve.



I think that The Perks of Being a Wallflower is exactly what I needed now as I am a confused teenager myself. I loved it so muched that I had tears in my eyes during the whole movie.

Naming your dog after him? It's a little disrespectful. Think about it. You're a novelist. You think this guy's the greatest. So you name your dog after him to cut him down to size. This way, you can put him on a leash... and yell "Bad Scotty" and feel all superior because you pee inside. Kill your idols, man. I'm all for it.


I hadn't watched a rom-com willingly for a long time, but this one I loved! What would you do if the character you had written came to life?

Thirty-eight of New York's finest, versus one guy in a unitard.



Better than I expected.

Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear.



It could've been so much better. I think that the actual game should've been longer and the preparation a little bit shorter.

We pay little Malaysian kids 10 cents a day to make these toys, we can't just *give* them away.

I think that we can't go around... measuring our goodness by what we don't do. By what we deny ourselves, what we resist, and who we exclude. I think... we've got to measure goodness by what we *embrace*, what we create... and who we include.

As the big fan of Tarantino that I am, I've been waiting for this film and I had really great expectations. It was good, but I think it could've been better.

I was a slut. There will always be a part of me that is dirty and sloppy, but I like that, just like all the other parts of myself. I can forgive. Can you say the same for yourself, fucker? Can you forgive? Are you capable of that?

So, my little Amélie, you don't have bones of glass. You can take life's knocks. If you let this chance pass, eventually, your heart will become as dry and brittle as my skeleton. So, go get him, for Pete's sake!

I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.
