Zodiac (2007)
I am not the Zodiac. And if I were, I certainly wouldn't tell you.
A movie about an unsolved series of murders, directed by David Fincher and starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr.
It was good, but it could've been great.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
We were both sure that... our relation was perfect, but there was something missing. You know? Like, love requires such a perfect balance. It's... like the human body. It may turn that you have all the vitamins and minerals, but if... there is minus a single, tiny ingredient... missing, like, like, like, like, ooh, like salt, for example... one dies.
Woody Allen's story invites us to visit with him one of the most wonderful cities of Europe: Barcelona. There, two american women, one who knows exactly what she wants and the other who knows exactly what she doesn't want, experience love.

Don't you think there's something male in every woman and something female in every man? Or should be?
The story explores the relationship of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.
While the performances were quite good (especially Fassbender's) I found the movie rather boring.

She's fair game, Joe. It's always open season on princesses.
What can be better on a hot summer afternoon than a classic romantic comedy, set in Rome with Audrey Hepburn ?

Up (2009)
That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most.
A old man and a young kid come together and go on an adventure in South America.
Watched it with my little brother and we both enjoyed it. Pixar at its finest.

Mr. Nobody (2009)
It should be written on every schoolroom blackboard: life is a playground or nothing.
Do you think that it's easier to make a choice not knowing what's going to happen or you wish you did?
Beautiful performances and mesmerizing story. It leaves you thinking and asking question. One of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen.

Alien (1979)
I kind of fell asleep in the first 15 minutes which says something. The first hour was boring, but the rest was okay. I'm not into sci-fi and horrors in general so that may be why.

Blue Valentine (2010)
In my experience, the prettier a girl is, the more nuts she is... which makes you insane. You're probably nutty coo coo crazy.
A mature story about two people that fall in love and how their love changes through the years. Their visions about marriage and life are different and they try to do what they think that's best for their daughter.
Strong acting from both Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling. Loved it.

The moment of impact. The moment of impact proves potential for change. Has ripples effects far beyond what we can predict. Sending some particles crashing together. Making them closer than before. While sending others spinning off into great ventures. Landing them where you've never thought you've found them. That's the thing about moments like these. You can't, no matter how hard you try, controlling how it's gonna affect you. You just gotta let the colliding part goes where they may. And wait. For the next collision.
What would you do if the person you cherish most wouldn't remember anything about you, your life together or your love? How would you feel if you had to make them fall in love with you all over again?

I'm old, Gandalf. I know I don't look it, but I'm beginning to feel it in my heart. I feel... thin. Sort of stretched, like... butter scraped over too much bread. I need a holiday. A very long holiday. And I don't expect I shall return. In fact I mean not to.
Rewatch
Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite series, not only of movies, but also of books. And I love the soundtrack !

Hamlet 2 (2008)
Maybe it's better that we just can't get pregnant. I feel like we shouldn't pass on this gene pool.
An average comedy about a teacher that attempts to save the school's theater by writing and performing a play called "Hamlet 2". Didn't really liked it.

Zoe: You can't make everyone happy.
Poppy: There's no harm in trying that Zoe, is there?
I think Poppy is one of my favorite characters. Even if at the beginning she seemed annoying at the end I fell in love with her.

You know what Mari? I think Justin here could be kind of cute if he lost his whole like creepy, hooded Unabomber kind of vibe he's got going on. Don't you think?
One of the few horror movies I actually liked.

I'm probably making a fool of myself... but then again, why not? Life is short!
It might be because I have a weak spot for period dramas or because of Michelle Pfieffer but I loved this belle époque movie.

Kathryn: [referring to Annette] She's really getting to you, isn't she?
Sebastian: If you must know, yes. I can't stand that holier-than-thou bullshit, and yet, I'm completely infatuated with her.
[pauses]
Sebastian: She made me laugh.
I loved the soundtrack and the character played by Sarah Michelle Geller, Kathryn.
