Movie Diary January 2013

Started the year out right with an AMAZING movie. I loved the artistic style and attention to detail. A must watch, for sure.

The most insane predicament that anybody could themselves into while trying to get knocked up. yep.

Well, this started out kind of slow. And then it got even slower.

This movie was quite different. That being said, I really liked it. Loved the twist ending :)

They did a wonderful job with this film. I read the book so I was skeptical, of course. But I was very pleased with the turnout

I don't want to say anything to give this film away, because you have to pay attention to it and it doesn't all come together until the end. true, the last 5 or so minutes are a bit predictable, but i still enjoyed it.

Not understanding the incredibly low ratings for this. I thought that it was cleverly done, well acted, and quite unique.

A quirky delight! Very different for sure! I loved this movie, especially the unexpected appearance of my favorite actress (Olivia Wilde)

I actually liked it much better the second time around.

Okay, this wasn't a wonderful film, but it honestly wasn't THAT bad. It did keep my attention for an hour and a half, so that in itself is an accomplishment. However, not one to watch again.

This was pretty average in my opinion.
Robert De Niro was wonderful, as always. As was Cillian Murphy. They were close, really. But for some reason it was only average for me.

This was a very unique movie.

At first you think that you know what will happen, and in a way you do, but this story is so much deeper than what you see at first glance. I found it wonderful. Slow, yes. But if you can sit and pay attention, you'll like it.
