Nadia's rating:

High Tension (2003)

two students, alex and marie, are going on a vacation to a summerhouse from marie's family. Everything seems fine, but in the night a stinky, big intruder sneeks into the house and kills the whole family in a brutal way. Alex tries her best to free marie and herself and leave the place, but things turn out to be more fucked up than ever.
It's not really a horror movie, it has more elements of a psycho-thriller movie.
Nadia's rating:

Fury (2014)

I haven't seen so many war movies before, but I liked this one.
A 5 man team of soldiers on their way to fight the nazi regime in their tank called "fury".
That's it. what else can you say about a war movie.
that it means family when you spend months with your friends in a tank and always trust each other no matter how rough the war might be?
nailed it
Nadia's rating:

The Aviator (2004)

The true story of Howard hughes, a man in the 40's who was filmmaker and airplane maker and spend millions and even more millions on movies and the building for airplanes. he also suffers from a disease that causes strong neuroses that gets worse time to time.
Nadia's rating:

Martyrs (2008)

A girl named lucie manages to escape from a building where she has been brutaly tortured and locked away from the outside world when she was a kid. She decides to take revenge on the family 15 years later. Her best friend anna has been on her side all her life, and helps her to hide the dead bodies from the saddists. But lucies destiny takes over her, and anna is all alone. But what happens after that is far beyond unbelievable. Go watch it now!
Nadia's rating:

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

just what the fuck?
The movie starts like a normal tarantino thriller/action movie, but after half of the movie it comes to a bizarre twist, almost stuff and blood with vampires . Kinda ineresting and super crazy
Nadia's rating:

Tomboy (2011)

Little girl pretends to be a boy named michael.
It is crystal clear what that movie says about society and that it shouln't matter how you act or what clothes you wear or if you want to be a boy or girl. But the movie was a bit lame for my taste
Nadia's rating:

Sid & Nancy (1986)

I am so glad that I watched it.
The true love story between sid from the sex pistols and nancy. They both are completely out of their minds and full of shit, but they don't give a damn about it.
ps: i feel so happy right now. I don't know why, but this movie has pushed something in my mind that made me think and laugh. I loved it
Nadia's rating:

Rebel Without a Cause (1955)

After watching that movie I realized that I am not a big fan of classic movies.
James Dean. ..that plays a rebellious teenager. ...but he just looks too ducking old to play a normal aged teenager. That irritated me the whole time.
But the message is nice and gives us a good glimpse into the life of the 50's.
Nadia's rating:

Magnolia (1999)

oh my god. that movie was so long.
Yes yes, another move about the true meaning of life and that there ARE SIMPLY NO COINCIDENCES.
From the style the movie is made, i wasn't surprised that many people were fascinated by it. But there was just too much information all at once and it went quiet fast, even if the movie is 181 minutes long (god damn!). I've seen enough movies made like that and i understand why those movies get so popoular. i love philosophy in movies. because I'm too lazy to read! (joking pls) *O*
But hey. That's just my opinion.
Nadia's rating:

Jupiter Ascending (2015)

(i fucking hate mila kunis)
i was about to hate the movie because of its stupid cover but after watching it i was surprised about my self that I didn't hate it.. Nice synopsis and i really like the little gags hidden in the movie about our world and mysteries. But let's dont forget that it's a typical hollywood production and contains a lot of annoying scenes like "oh my god i'm falling help me!" and that about 50 times.
Nadia's rating:

The Piano Teacher (2001)

Wonderful strict and unapproachable piano teacher gets in touch with one of her students who falls for her. But he doesn't even know what he's been thinking when he gets into her life and her rules...
I like the atmosphere through the first half of the movie and how it suddelny takes it's turn from the classic day routine of a pianist to a deeply mental sick persons life. Did I spoil too much? No I didn't
Nadia's rating:

When your career as Hollywood superhero is over, you try to let the show go on and give your best at the broadway bussines.
But That bussines is a bit more different than the usual hollywood stuff. It's about performance and art, and being the person to thrill people's mind on stage. The main character has his little psycho moments, wich are hard to explain without spoiling, so just watch the damn movie.
The movie by itself is made like a little theater act because there is no cut! How awesome is that? The movie is pure magic.
Nadia's rating:

Import/Export (2007)

I fucking hate my country and it's movies. Exept for haneke.
This movie is pure bullshit, and I've seen enough soulless bullshit out there. For my beloved austrian people:
Schiebts euch eure Kunst in den Oarsch!!
Nadia's rating:

The Matrix (1999)

Your reaity is not what you thought it was. Fighting against the system while you are outside the system is really fucked up shit. Loved it!
Nadia's rating:

Rashomon (1950)

Classic Japanese Movie. The movie is based on 3 differet story telling layers (?). One at the Rashamon Gate, one in the Trial, and the basic Plot, wich is told by 4 different people in a different view. (i can't tell you the plot 'cause that is spoiling).
The question is, what is the real truth, and are there good or bad people? Is there faith in humaity?
Nothing for transformers fans
Nadia's rating:

I will never ever watch that movie on mushrooms again.
But I Liked it!
Those cute little boxtrolls really get into your heart.
The plot is very simple, but you have to keep in mind that this masterpiece is a solid stopmotion movie! Respect!
I haven't seen such a good animation movie in a long time. It is worth to watch. Some of the scenes are actually pretty gross and bizarre, I wonder how I would respond to that movie if i was a little child watching it in the cinema...
Nadia's rating:

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015)

A secret Agent organisation who educate young adults to become Kingsmanagents. Those agents stop the evil from their plans, and who is the villain in that movie? Samuel L. Jackson.
I know he is tough and stuff, but why does he have to be a lisping villain? Very entertaining, but not the best movie I've seen. I love the church scene where they all crush their bodies against each other.
Aynyhow, collin firth was the hottest guy in the movie
Nadia's rating:

Hellraiser: Inferno (2000)

3rd time i watched that movie. Now I really need to review it *g*
This is my alltime favorite Horrormovie (after nightmare on elmstreet). Surreal elements, creatures that stare directly into your soul and the ulky feeling to just have to keep on watching.
Hell. That is the word what the main character is going through. Never mess with higher powers. Ever!
Nadia's rating:

The Reader (2008)

Michael is a 15 year old boy, that falls in love with a woman. She's mysterious and much older than him, but she becomes his first passion. She loves it when he reads to her but she's acting strange sometimes. What he finds out about her and her life before him doesn't keep him from being the one she needs.
Very romantic, and sad...
Nadia's rating:

Event Horizon (1997)

That shit really scared me...
A rescue team from the earth is sent to space to find the crew with their ship called "event horzion".
When they entered the ship they find the crew dead and mauled. something strange happened to them. Time after time each one of the tescue team gets in touch with their biggest fears and memories, but can not expain why. What they are about to find out is the worst nightmare anyone can imagine.
Nadia's rating:

Amรฉlie (2001)

A very sweet movie about a girl named Amรฉlie, who lives in her own little world and helps other people to find joy and happiness in their lives.
A little bit to sweet for my taste, but you can't hate that movie. Those little things in it just make it big.
Nadia's rating:

Kill List (2011)

Ok really... what the fuck did I just watch.
Let me try to explain this flick of nonsense without sounding like someone who isn't a complete idiot...
Nope. Sorry. Can't do that.
Nadia's rating:

Happiness (1998)

Everyone has problems in their lifes, like fantasizing about your hot neighbor, or having troubles finding the right man, or to find a boy who shares love with you when you're a pedophile.
Those people in the movie are some fucked up human beings, wich show us the true meaning of being on the opposite side of happiness.
I found that movie kind of dumb for some reason, because it is so much useless stuff going on in those 2 hours of time that movie takes place. But it's good because of the actors, they make the movie bearable to watch. Good cast, Todd Solondz.
Nadia's rating:

Inside (2007)

A very gory and bloody horrormovie. A pregnant woman survives in a car accident and her baby also is still alive and goes through a big depression. 4 months later, one night before the baby is born, a strange night is coming to take over her.
A crazy ass bitch tries to cut out the baby out of her belly. Just what the fuck.
If you want a movie that gives you the chills while watching, this one might just be the perfect one for you.
Nadia's rating:

Idiocracy (2006)

A simple dude like you and me takes part in social experiment. But it goes wrong, for sure! Instead of traveling one year further into the future, he's traveling 500 years, and he find himself in a world where trash has been forgotten and got stacked, water has been replaced with gatorade and the people's IQ is not higher than 70.
In other words, humans evolution theories of that people are more intelligent in the future, was a lie.
Rear Window (1954) (1954)

When you're stuck at home for weeks with a plaster on your leg, you have to entertain yourself somehow. Jeff starts to look out of his window and observes his neighborhood, that's in a courtyard. AFter some time he realizes that something is strange with his neighbor, and he's convinced about the fact that the man has murdered his wife.
It is an awesome feeling watching that movie like a voyeur who's looking into other people's windows and sneak into their private lifes.... loved it!
Million Dollar Baby (2005)

That movie has a loud voice. It teaches a lot of things and also is not just a simple sports drama, but also an emotional very serious flick about staying strongf and to become what your heart tells you to be.
I was in a bad mood while watching it, i bet I would have cried at the end if I was in the right mood.
Nadia's rating:

If you want to waste your time with a dumb movie, don't watch that one, it's a waste of wasting your time. Or maybe this humor is just pure bullshit in my eyes. Is will ferell really that funny in the US?
I don#t want to add any more commentary to that movie because i found that movie totally useless boring and full of jokes which now I know why they're called "cheap":
Why I watched it? ... I had that stupid "okay, we'll watch another movie instead of the one i actually wanted" attitude in the cinema. never-again!
Nadia's rating:

Big Eyes (2014)

It tells the true story of margeret Keane who paints children with big eyes, and her asshole husband is selling them as his own and forcing his wife to keep on painting them and shut the fuck up about it, because "he" is the artist!
don't we love christoph waltz when he plays the villain? Yes we do.
Nice and compact movie that will teach you to stand up to yourself (and your art).
I Saw the Devil (2010)

I saw the devil is a story of a man who takes revenge of the murderer of his beloved wife, and that's when 2 psychopaths get to a strange dillema of pain and blood. You will never see a movie again that gives you a glimpse into a psychopath's work and passion. Psvcho vs Psycho. Movie nerds will love it!
Alien (1979)

Science fiction Horrormovie about a crew that accidentaly brought a little squishy alien into their ship that is not the thing that it seems to be... shit is about to get real...
Thor (2011)

Never again will I watch a movie that's been recommendet by a noob, nor will i ever watch a stupid ass-superhero-hollywood-bullshit-suck-my-dick- action movie!
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

...
sorry but I really cant say anything about it. i was a little bit confused. maybe the comic is better. But hey, I am impressed this movie has 0 % cgi! That is pretty impressive!
Ex Machina (2014)

I don't really know what that movie tried to tell me.
IT's a bout a robot woman with artificial intelligence and real human emotions, and it's creator is the biggest asshole in the world. Another boring character, who works as a programmer in his everyday life, is supposed to test that robot on how realistic it's emotions are. And of course the robot girl feels loooove, and wants to escape that house she's been stuck in for so long.
SO they make a movie about emotions, but I felt nothing during the movie. No suspense... I was disappointed
Persepolis (2007)

I really enjoyed the movie, also because I have read the graphic novel before. But still, the novel contains much more details about her feelings and the situations she went through in her life. But if you're interested in iran historic events and the true story of a woman who saw it all, this animated masterpiece will make you happy.
The Little Mermaid (1989)
Big Hero 6 (2014)
I was disappointed. A big cuddly pharmacy robot that takes care of a little boy who is trying to fight a villian in a kabuki mask who stole his micro bots he invented long ago, with his 4 nerdy friends that also turn themselves into epic superheroes with their intelligent brain. ... i didn't really get the point in that movie
Juno (2007)

Juno's a 16 year old girl, that is pregnant and goes trhough her live carying that baby for a family that wants to adopt the child. it brings you closer to the everyday life of a teenage girl and what it takes to take responsibility for your own life and the one for another.
nice one :)
Nadia's rating:

Pixels (2015)

Aliens attack the earth with retro video games!!! Now the destiny oif the world lays in the hand of the super nerds of modern society!
Awesome CGI effects, really! That movie is a lot a of fun, besides that boring love story that is going on between adam sandler and the main female character,
Loved the pacman scene!
Whiplash (2014)

A boy who's dream it is to become one of the best drummers of all time. To do so, he has to play in one of the big bands, wich is led by a strict music teacher. Sweat, tears and blood flew into his hard progress, and the pressure is getting heavier and heavier. But what else can you do when you're dream is too strong to let go..
aaaawesome!
