"First viewing - March 2nd This film is clearly aimed at people already familiar with Tenacious D, and as such it worked fine for me. There are numerous nods to the songs on their first album, yet they're skipped over in favor of newer songs which are decent but mostly fall short of the quality of those early songs. I'd expected the whole film to be funnier than it is, but for me the humor was mostly of the mildly amusing variety & big laughs were scarce. Possibly it's also intended to be watche"
