" I don't how to describe this movie other than to sayit's something along the lines about adopting a baby outside the conventional means.... Or maybe, the way this story pans out,the best I can say is that it's pretty f#cked up. Inside is part of the New Movement of French horror movies in which the stories are presented with a visceral, no holds barred type of attitude. Therefore, this is just one of the very few that movies of that type that can be found on any of my "favorite films list"

"Indecently bloody, uncannily realistic looking. The French outdid themselves! "

"First viewing - March 3rd Shudder You know this is a bona fide Xmas movie because it's loaded with gifts & there's plenty of red. It's bleak, brutal & twisted, & had me giggling & cheering for some of the carnage on display. Plus there are some truly epic images along the way. It's quite a feast & I'm so glad Shudder added it so I could finally see what all the fuss is about."

" Date: 12/24/2021 Viewed: Criterion Re-Watch Note: I decided to watch one of my favorite French horror films on Christmas Eve. I've been eager to rewatch Inside, which I haven't seen since it was released on DVD. Inside is still a fantastic film. In my opinion, it's one of the most depressing Christmas movies. Inside is a dark, gruesome, and fast-paced horror film that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I do not recommend watching this film if you are squeamish. This isn't a film for th"

In other words, based on the basic theme of this list, if this movie isn't worthy enough to have an entry on this list, I don't what does. "

"Filmmakers Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury announce their disregard for all notions of restraint with their opening image of a severe car accident as seen and experienced by an unborn child. One moment the child is soothed by his mother’s loving, if alarming, words, the next he’s throttled, blood rising and floating from the inside. The film is driven by this accident, and what follows is the most potent exploitation of unyielding, inexplicable violation outside of Takashi Miike’s Audi"

"A woman fends of another who stops at nothing to take her unborn child in this home invasion classic of French cinema. Harrowing, has to be seen to be believed. Avoid the horrid American remake. "

“waaay too extreme, I'd rather watch a movie with a disturbing atmosphere and psychological horror than this 'new' stylish Horror movie with tons of blood but the creepy/scary atmosphere is somehow missing. In old days the horror was up to everyones imagination, today it's right in your face-I think this is getting pretty boring and stupid. And how much extremes do they still wanna show?!? Newborn Porn like in A Serbian Film or cutting open a stomach to take out a baby, come on, this has nothing to do with art anymore, our society is already bad enough, we don't need more Psychopaths due to Extreme Horror like this!! But I also have to add that Alysson Paradis was wonderful in this movie and the Cinematography was wonderful as well (7/10)
