Seasons: 1-8

First time watching these series I could not get over even the very first episode - I hated everything! From the way it was set & filmed to the actors & their acting. It took me couple years to come back to it and actually properly watch it without preset judgement.

I liked it! The story was interesting and gave a lot of inspiration for me. I personally was so glad, that Dexters wife Rita was killed off! I was getting really tired of her character. At some point it looked like there was some context planned for Ritas character, but it was never realised. Only a shadow of dark past and that's it! Although, this show had one of the best plot twists I have ever seen! (season 4)

To sum up: last couple seasons lacked initial charm. Dexter was rather humanised and the ending felt anticlimactic. To be fare, TV shows rarely have decent endings without stupid cliff-hangers or cheesy closure. So I guess, it is an ending of it's own. But not as satisfying as I would have hopped.

Your typical teen transformation movie with poor acting and scenography. Another "Mean Girls" wannabe, but actually lightyears away from cult classic! 

To sum up: No expectations, still disappointed.
