In 1958 New York, Midge Maisel's life is on track- husband, kids, and elegant Yom Kippur dinners in their Upper West Side apartment. But when her life takes a surprise turn, she has to quickly decide what else she's good at - and going from housewife to stand-up comic is a wild choice to everyone but her.

"Season 1: 7/10. Season 2: 8/10. So fucking funny. Season 3: 5/10. Meh. The best thing about the show is the difficulties Miriam faces, the obstacles , but in this season she's doing to well. Season 4: 6/10. Better, fixed that a bit, but still not as good."

"1. Brett Goldstein- Ted Lasso 2. Henry Winkler- Barry 3. Tony Shalhoub- The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel 4. Anthony Carrigan- Barry 5. Bowen Yang- Saturday Night Live 6. Kenan Thompson- Saturday Night Live 7. Nick Mohammed- Ted Lasso 8. Brian Tyree Henry- Atlanta #1-4 are safe. Any of the back half, though, could easily fall off. Neither SNL star had major seasons; Thompson is always dependable, but Yang seemed a bit more absent this season. Both probably make it in (this is a category that rarely cha"

" Season 4 The series bounced back a bit after Season 3 became the show's weakest effort. This one was full of energy and grand performances and ideas. The season finale was awesome, yet the season needed to be two episodes longer, which would have made it stronger. The season was full of funny moments but strangely boasted the least amount of great stand-up comedy from Midge. --- Added to Lists: Iconic Dresses of Cinema - Black Most Creative Stage Performances within the Story ------"

" Season 3 This season couldn't match the first two. I really liked the idea of her going on tour and and I think it worked in a lot of ways. I didn't like it (SPOILER) ending on a down on entirely note. It didn't seem fitting for the show. Putting her parents in an annoying situation didn't work, especially the writing for Abe, who usually has the best lines, was watered-down. Really, I feel the overall writing just wasn't as clever and inspired. Still, this continues to remain one "

"Season 2 Second season tops the first in this brilliant show. I loved it all, from the Paris scenes at the beginning, to the detour in The Catskills, to the finale. The editing seems to have gotten more creative, plus the production design, acting, writing and cinematography are still top of their game for television. Tony Shalhoub's character is even more hilarious but they weakened Kevin Pollack's character. That may be my only negative thing to say at the moment. "

"And the nominees are... *Christina Applegate- Dead to Me *Rachel Brosnahan- The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel *Linda Cardellini- Dead to Me *Catherine O'Hara- Schitt's Creek *Issa Rae- Insecure *Tracee Ellis Ross- Black-ish And the Emmy goes to... **Catherine O'Hara- Schitt's Creek**Brosnahan is always a threat here, and this is a pretty loaded category otherwise, but O'Hara looks like the winner this year. 2020 Emmy Nominations Predictions (35 tv items)

"1. It's early to could it the favorite, but it's the only returning winner here in a year with mass turnover. It's, at the very least, secured for a nomination. 2. It was the little show that could last season, now it's a bona fide contender. With PGA and SAG nominations, along with being one of the few remaining holdovers from last year, Creek has a legitimate shot at scoring a win for it's final season. 3. Should get a goodbye kiss. Highly likely 4. Curb is a perennial nominee returning in "
