Just one film, a first time viewing.
Heathers (1988)
I didn't know this was a black comedy!! I thought it was proper dramatic. Either way, I fucking loved this film, I need to watch it again. Winona Ryder is amazing, she deserved an Oscar for this! Love Shannen Doherty too. Brillaint, I highly recommend.

Another first time viewing.
White Chicks (2004)
I am appalled it has taken me so long to watch this film. I have had years of people quoting it to me, and now I know why! It's sheer genius. Love it.

2 new first time viewings, never seen a Katharine Hepburn film..
Adam's Rib (1949)
I liked this film, I couldn't explain to you what it was about, but it was amusing enough. I just wanted to watch a Katharine Hepburn film!

Another first time viewing.
On Golden Pond (1981)
Absolutely gorgeous. Another film with fantastic acting, and incredibly endearing characters. It was also beautiful to see Henry Fonda and Jane Fonda play a father and daughter. This film breaks my heart.

The Hangover (2009)
Underwhelmed. I didn't even think it was that funny. :( I really wanted to love it! But I just liked it.

Sunset Boulevard (1950)
I was hugely disappointed by this. Although I think Gloria Swanson is absolutely terrific, something about the film just failed to really impress. Ah well..

November 18th
Technically, it's 5 short films.. made for TV.. But whatever.
Five (2011)
I was very impressed with the segments directed by Alicia Keys and Jennifer Aniston, and I adored Ginnifer Goodwin in the segment directed by Demi Moore! Five beautiful stories about how cancer affects the lives of so many, not just the victims. And they were all very intelligently intertwined. I loved them all!

November 24th
One of my favourites.
Chicago (2002)
I absolutely fucking loved it! Without a doubt one of the best movie musicals I've ever seen, and what an amazing cast! Renรฉe Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere, John C. Reilly, Queen Latifah, Christine Baranski...

I couldn't help but notice that Catherine was so much better at dancing than Renรฉe was...

An old childhood favourite.
Peter Pan (1953)
Definitely one of the cutest Disney films, the message is gorgeous, and the characters are some of the best. Let's be honest, we all still call hissy fits 'Tinkerbells'.. No? Just me? Fine, fuck you.
