One of the all-time great haunted house films

"Pros: George C. Scott, and his performance in the film. The overall atmosphere of the film. It’s scary, and is a excellent example of horror, without over reliance on blood and gore. The Changeling is one of the best, if not most underrated haunted house films, of all time."
"Rated: PG Why it’s rated: Some violence and frightening scenes, and coarse language."
" "That house is not fit to live in. No one's been able to live in it. It doesn't want people." Directed by Peter Medak Written by Russell Hunter, William Gray and Diana Maddox Music by Rick Wilkins Cinematography by John Coquillon Editing by Lilla Pedersen"
"Also nominated Best Horror or Thriller Best Cinematography Best Production Design "
"The Carmichael Mansion, Denver, Colorado Which is worse about this 1980 horror movie location? The supernatural hauntings that besiege it, or the unspeakable crime that gave rise to the hauntings? Most film buffs would likely state the latter. Why you wouldn’t want to visit: It’s haunted by ghosts."
"3.1. Blu-ray Kummitustarinat usein muistuttavat toisiaan. Usein ne myös menevät erityisellä tavalla ihon alle. The Changeling ei varsinaisesti ole poikkeus. Kummitustalo ei sinänsä tuota uhkaa, eikä tulevaa erityisesti jännitä, mutta välitön tunnelma ja tarinan käänteet nostattavat pelkoa väitetysti kokeneessakin katsojassa. Tarina pitää erinomaisesti otteessaan ja saa pohtimaan menetyksen monikasvoista traagisuutta ja sen vaikutuksia."
"Ghosts, have unfinished business. The accent on the word, unfinished. That house is not fit to live in. No one's been able to live in it. It doesn't want people."
