gotta love it its Mel - pretty good film - kind of been told before but still holds the attention.

I already saw this movie but since it was a while back and since I have it on DVD, I was quite eager to check it out again. Description: Mel Gibson plays a wealthy executive whose life is shattered when his young son is held for ransom, but the businessman takes matters into his own hands! A headstrong airline tycoon pays the ransom for his abducted son, despite the pleas of his wife and FBI agents, then must gamble on the consequences of attempting to turn the tables on the kidnapper, setting up a gut-wrenching confrontation between the anguished father and the increasingly desperate criminals. " The idea of a man who wants his kidnapped son, released and is willing to do “Whatever it takes.”, has been before, but this one has Mel Gibson as the man who will do “Whatever it takes”, to get his son, back. Directed by Ron Howard, the movie was a big hit and critics gave the film, decent reviews.
