" The devil in disguise comes to a quiet, peaceful town and opens a store called Needful Things. The store has an item for everyone in town. All the devil asks for in return is a few dirty pranks. Little do they know, that they've sold their souls, and the pranks escalate to murder... Based on the novel by Stephen King, the film did okay with critics, and film goers felt it’s okay, but the shop wasn’t worth shopping at. "Watched on: July 17th, 2023. Interesting movie, not bad, but way too long for its own good. Could've cut out at least 30-ish minutes, but that may just be me. Great musical score and great lead, Ed Harris did a great job. Yah... decent enough for a Stephen King film."
" First Viewing Viewing Date: March 10th Via: Amazon Prime Video Plot: A mysterious new shop opens in a small town which always seems to stock the deepest desires of each shopper, with a price far heavier than expected. Not a film to partake of if you're looking for a solid representation of the somewhat large and unwieldy novel it's based on. Departing from the stranger (and at time darkly comedic) elements of the source material, this rendition leans more into a traditional take of devilish mischief and predation visited upon the weak-willed. However, despite some in"
"Castle Rock, Maine Castle Rock is a small New England mill town in Maine that has served as a nexus for paranormal, supernatural, and metaphysical events. Why you wouldn’t want to visit: It’s because you’re in a Stephen King novel or movie."
"Re-watch - Feb. 16th "Quoth the raven...oops, wrong movie" The last time I watched Needful Things it was in theatres, and in the years since I've forgotten a lot of it. This was initially drove home for me during the opening credits when I realized I'd forgotten every member of the cast except for Max Von Sydow. I still appreciate the story and some of the ways it plays out. The whole film is proof that when communication between people breaks down it can have disastrous consequences. Which mak"

"Nothing comes for free. Everything has a price. Especially, when making deals. Because, the devil never breaks a bargain."
