"First viewing - Nov. 21st Frank Sinatra acts his ass off in this film...I was really impressed. You can see more or less where it'll wind up, but thankfully it's written so that I was invested in the characters enough that I hardly minded. I think this is the earliest film I've seen that deals honestly with drug addiction, and I found that admirable. I don't know that I need to watch it again, but if someone wanted to watch it with me I'd be happy to do so."
