" First Viewing Viewing Date: December 5th Via: iTunes Store Plot: Hollywood aging stuntman Sonny Hooper wants to prove that he's still got what it takes to be a great professional in this risky and under-recognized line of work. Rating: 6.7/10"
"First viewing - May 13th Hooper is a super fun film about stuntmen, made with heart and respect for the profession. Naturally that means it features some impressive stunt work, including an all-out finale, but it's got a good story and I genuinely cared about most of the characters. I'm glad I finally caught it after years of hearing about it."
"Another Burt Reynolds/Hal Needham team up as Reynolds plays a top stuntman who starts to feel his age and his insecurities when a new, younger stuntman arrives on the scene. Very little plot but the stunts are terrific, especially the finale, while the rest of the film relies on Reynolds charm. A perfect film to sit back, switch your brain into neutral and just go with it. they just don't make them like this anymore."
