This movie is freaking hillarious! Buut you have to see it to believe it!
Borat was waaaaaaay better than Ali G in my oppinion. Sacha Baron Cohen Is the funniest ever though!

Not going to lie. Thought it was going to be much more worse that it actually was. It was fairly entertaining in parts. Not necessarily 'funny' just sometimes interesting to watch. It also was really weird that Kazakhstan was chosen, I mean, what an obscure country. You can't stereotype it, so why choose it? I do wonder...

"Has this man made the funniest movie ever"? No. Not even close. Don't get me wrong, there are some hilarious uncomfortable moments and the exploitation of Middle America was great, but it wasn't enough to support Borat's cross-country motives as the film just lacked a storyline worthy of the hype.

" Notes: Back then, when it came out, it was a huge success which was quite surprising so right away I was rather curious to check it out. Eventually, I didn't expect it to be so funny and actually so good... In my opinion, it is easily one of the best comedies from the last 20 years. The best thing about this flick was that Sacha Baron Cohen managed to create a character who is obviously rather stupid and despicable but, in a weird way, after a while you can't help feeling sympathy for him...
