“I actually already saw this movie but since it was a while back and since I had it on DVD, I thought I might as well check it out again. After struggling through most of the 80's and the 90's, Ridley Scott would finally make a major come-back in 2000 with 'Gladiator' but, before that, he would release one last flop. Indeed, even though there was a pretty good buzz before its release, this movie turned out to be a commercial and critical failure. Well, since it had a rather lame reputation, I wasn't expecting much from it but, eventually, I thought it was not so bad after all. I mean, sure, the whole thing felt like another misguided ego project coming from Demi Moore but, at least, it was watchable which was definitely not the case with 'Striptease'.
