" DVD- 1hr. 43min. First Viewing Get Carter is a movie at odds with itself; it wants to be a standard-issue Stallone shoot-em'-up, and a reflective film on violence. With that in mind, the film is both more interesting than most of Sly's output and a complete clusterfuck. The plot doesn't make a lot of sense, things just sort of happen and we have to go along with it, and there's little fun to be had beyond the expected over-acting of the supporting cast. Not much fun, just dumb."
