I don't know why exactly but I really wanted to see this flick already for a while. As a matter of fact, I'm usually not really a big fan of true stories but this one was based on a fascinating story. I donโ€™t know, maybe it has to do with the fact that, while I was a kid, I used to watch โ€˜Hoganโ€™s heroesโ€™ and it was just really weird and kind of mesmerizing to see the life of this actor who... read more

Capitalizing on his fame as the star of "Hogan's Heroes," Bob Crane (Greg Kinnear) dove into the freewheeling spirit of the 60s and 70s with relish, having affairs with numerous women. Eventually, Crane teamed up with video technician John Carpenter to document his exploits, an association that may very well have led to his murder in a Scottsdale, Arizona motel room in 1978, which remains officially unsolved to this day.

Movies I watched in July 2019 (22 movies items)

" Date: 7/24/2019 Viewed: Sony Crackle First Viewing Note: I never saw this movie until recently, but I do remember the advertisements for this movie when it came out back in 2002. This is a very good movie despite it not being 100% truthful to real life. The acting is great and I love the relationship between Bob & John. Greg Kinnear did an amazing job as Bob Crane because it did felt like I was watching the original actor on screen. I also love how the story deals with themes such as obsessi"
