Well, following the already amazing ‘Minding the Gap’, it turned out to be another really solid feature dealing with skaters also released in 2018. "June 9th Jonah Hill's directorial debut is very impressive. It has incredible performances by the young cast and it really captures the look and feel of the era it depicts. Extremely engaging and cinematic. I would hazard a guess that it is in some way auto-biographical because it is so vivid and intense in its treatment of the characters and their stories and the wider era itself.
