His leadership through the Great Depression (via the New Deal) and through World War II makes him one of the most significant figures of the 20th Century.

As of 2016, I will be ranking all of the 44 (technically 43) American Presidents from best to worst. While I have my opinions, I try to look at things as objectively as possible. I will judge by the following factors: political skill, innovation, economy, foreign policy, domestic policy, civil rights, ethics and overall impact on the country.
