PIF: Zooey is able to play the piano and the ukulele, and she's a singer too.

Q: The first album I ever got was 'Like a Virgin'. It was during the Iran Contra conflict-I thought she was saying, 'Like a Persian'.

I'm blessed with a lot of energy and stamina. I can't stand sitting still. I went to a spa once with my mom and I was like, "Get me out of here!'".

Wrote a screenplay titled "Circus Girl" with friend Jackson Nash. "Circus Girl" involves a witch, evil flying red balloons and a giant diamond. Zooey plans to star in the film as the nerdy main character.

I believed in Santa Claus until I was like 14.

It`s an addiction. I love clothes. I like to go down Melrose and look in all the windows and I go to different flea markets. I have lots of costumes. You never know when you`re going to have to dress up like a milkmaid from the 1600s.

I can do the chipmunk voice and impressions of Judy Garland, Debbie Reynolds and Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music (1965). I could probably do the whole Von Trapp family.

I don't know that it's important, but it's nice to be a kid when you're a kid, you know? It's nice to pretend.

PIF: Born on Halloween, 1980, in Tokyo, Japan.
Name means 'dawning sun' in Gaelic and pronounced Sah-mee-rah. Her parents initially pronounced her name Sam-air for 3 months until they were taught how to pronounce it in its proper Gaelic form

Samaire's bathroom is the color pink.

If Samaire was a superhero, she would want to be called 'Samurai Samaire'.
Samaire has a love for candy scented and flavoured beauty products.

She has her own clothing line, NARU.

Q: When I was 4, I started training in Japanese sword fighting with my dad. It was very embarrassing to be sword training in the park next to where the boys were playing football.

My home is my dream Utopia. I surround myself with things that inspire me - pictures, magazine clippings.

PIF: As an adolescent, she added the "y" in her first name.

Shannyn was discovered when she was helping a friend DJ at a birthday party for Gwyneth Paltrow in October 1999

Shannyn previous jobs are: tele-marketing for a carpet cleaning company, working in a cigar-espresso store on sunset Boulevard and being a clerk at a second-hand record store in L.A.

In 2006, 2007 Shannyn was the drummer of the group WarPaint with her friends.

She believes in an afterlife, but she doesn't have any idea what it'd be like.

She wakes up at 10:30 a.m. everyday

When she was a kid, she almost drowned in a pool.

She is allergic to bird's feathers.

She likes to eat pizza and chocolate. She also likes swimming, watching TV, house and dance music, sexy underwear, reading romance books, white gold, sports and exotic cars, watching soap operas on TV, wearing Gucci, new electronic gadgets, sleeping on water mattresses, drinking coffe, dancing, DJ-ing, taking pictures, writing, music, drums wearing clothes made of silk, and horseback riding. E-mailing is one of her favorite things to do as well, she writes about 50 e-mails a day.

She had her child, Audio at home, it was a water birth.

Q: Even though I’m an actress, sometimes I can’t adapt to vanilla cookie-cutter romantic comedies. It makes me want to die.

I sleep with my hands on my neck when I sleep. I don't know why. I always have, forever. I feel like maybe in a past life I was hung or sliced. I mean it's weird. There's no explanation for it.

I don't know what the fuck I am. I'm a film doll.

PIF: Tiny at just over five feet, Ricci stopped growing when she was ten years old.

She suffers from botanophobia (fear of plants). Admits to being especially afraid of houseplants.

Christina admits that she is obsessed with gambling.

In 2008 Christina became a counselor for people suffering from eating disorders, inspired by her own battles with anorexia when she was a teenager.

Christina has a fear that a shark might swim through a hatch into the swimming pool. She's also scared of ghosts and gerbils.

Christina's parents divorced while she was filming Addams Family Values.


Q: If I hadn't gone into acting, I would have been one of those weird runaways on Hollywood Boulevard. No, it'd be uglier. I'd probably be dead.

For years, I hated myself. I covered the mirrors in my house. I literally couldn't have a mirror in my room. I still can't sit in a restaurant or someplace where I can catch my reflection. I get so paranoid.

My dream role would probably be a psycho killer, because the whole thing I love about movies is that you get to do things you could never do in real life, and that would be my way of vicariously experiencing being a psycho killer. Also, it's incredibly romantic.

I certainly hope I'm not still answering child-star questions by the time I reach menopause.

Nobody's kissing my ass, unfortunately. I could use a little. But then again, my personality isn't conducive to butt-kissing.

ISHI: The Notebook, Wedding Crashers, Mean Girls, The hot chick.

PIF: Born in the same hospital as The Notebook (2004) co-star Ryan Gosling in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Ontario.

Worked at a McDonald's for three summers with her sister and her brother.

Avoided flying airplanes until age 22.

She doesn't own a car. As part of her daily contribution to help conserve energy, she rides her bike or takes the bus.
Learned to drive after a bike accident.

She is allergic to horses.



Q: The craziest thing I've ever done to get a guy's attention? I admit I stalked someone. I showed up at a restaurant where I knew the guy worked, and we were actually good friends and had lost touch, and I pretended that I didn't know he worked there. And then ran into him and, "Oh my God, you work here? I had no idea." It's the most manipulative thing I've done in my entire life, but it all worked out very well, so I have no regrets.

A friend of mine had this great theory about the "Teletubbies" (1997), that it's preparing us for being mindless. And getting us ready for living in an underground world. When they build the underground world because we can no longer breathe the air that it will look like Teletubbie land.

I once made a (it was supposed to be a 30-minute) bean salad that took me like 6 hours.

I did (training in) tennis, ballet, swing dancing, piano, art class and etiquette. I also did French dialect, but then it was mixing me up with my Southern dialect, so we stuck to Southern!

I wanted to be a secretary, I love paper clips and staplers.

If I hurt someone, if I were to accidentally poke someone's eye out, I would laugh. And then I'd say, 'I'm sorry, I really do feel bad,' but then I'm on the floor rolling.

PIF: She started her career by getting hurt at one of her brother Nate Dushku's auditions and impressing the talent scouts with her emphasized drama.

While on location, she surrounds herself with pictures of family and friends.

She always takes the back of her director's chair (the chair personalized with her name) after a shoot as a souvenir.

She used to have a German shepherd-husky-beagle mix named Korbit. Now she has 2 dogs, a golden named Max Factor and a Bernese named Rigby Idaho.



Q:
For a long period of time, she refused to do nude scenes. She once stated "You have a better chance of seeing God than me naked".

Go big or go home. Because it's true. What do you have to lose?

Each year, I say I'm going to go to school next year. It's inevitable that I'll end up getting my education.

For the longest time, I thought I was a boy. I really did. I wore boys' clothes, played tag football.

I remember hitting Sarah Michelle Gellar with a right hook during my first week on the job. It was awful. They usually pair actors with stunt doubles to avoid things like that.

My parents divorced when I was born, and my mother is a political science professor, like a feminist Mormon, which is sort of an oxymoron.

We didn't have a TV in the living room and all my friends thought we were kind of weird. When they'd come over, my mom wanted to talk to them about current events.

PIF: She has a one eyed dog named Wink.

Q: In fourth grade, I made a girl eat staples because I wanted her satin pants. She didn’t die, though, and now we’re friends.

I’ve always felt like a tomboy but especially beside Christina [Applegate] and Cameron [Diaz] [in "The Sweetest Thing"]. God bless anyone who looks at the three of us in one frame and still finds me sexy.

I have no idea what to do. People are taking my picture, and I’m just, like, standing there blinking. I’m so not suave.

I really have no idea why people think I’m weird, unless it’s because I carry a hanky and like fine writing papers – little things out of time. Or because I’ll swear like a truck driver, but then I make sure I always blot my lips after I eat.

ISHI: John Tucker Must Die, Prom Night, On the Doll, Gossip Girl.

PIF:The last thing Brittany does before she goes to bed is think about the day she had.

The first thing Brittany does when she wakes up in the morning is look in the mirror and laugh.

Brittany's most treasured possession is her memory-box pictures.

Brittany once received two B’s on he report card and her parents hired a tutor to help get her back on track.

Has suffered from anorexia, exercise bulimia and suppression and had gotten down to a weight of 85 pounds, until she got help at age 17.

Brittany has a scar and 14 stitches from falling on a brick when she was 2 years old.

In an AD for McDonalds, Brittany dressed up as a box of french fries.



Q: I grew up doing all that stuff because I was obsessed with the '50s. I had sock hops for birthday parties. So I've always done The Twist and stuff. It was pretty natural and, with my parents doing it all the time, I'd just copy them. Not very pretty.

It's really funny, because when I told all my friends I was doing this project with John Travolta and Queen Latifah, they were like, "Oh, that's awesome," but when I said I was going to be working with Zac Efron, they all went crazy and were like, "NO WAY!"

I went from sort-of unknown to 'Are you a narc?!'

Dogs. I've been nagging my mother forever for a tiny, white dog with little nose that goes, "yip, yip."

(when asked if she prefer beach or pool) The pool. I don't like all those creatures beneath my feet. I'm really a scaredy cat when it comes to stingrays and sharks and jelly fish. I love to lay on the beach and get a suntan, but I'd rather swim in the pool.

ISHI: Amélie, Dirty Pretty Things. But Amélie explains everything.

PIF: As a child, Audrey played the oboe in a youth orchestra.

She wanted to be a primatologist. She even went so far as to call all the pet stores in Paris to find one to adopt as a pet.

After Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001), she and her sister went on a roadtrip in Indonesia where no one recognized her.

Audrey admits that she is very superstitious. She always avoids crossing paths with black cats and keeps from walking under ladders.

Favourite poets are Charles Baudelaire and Tristan Tzara.
Favourite music composers are Ravel, Mozart and Frédéric Chopin.

She takes pictures of her interviewers and puts them in scrapbook.

Her last name is pronounced "Toe-too" not "Ta-too."


Q:I wouldn't mind being in an American film for a laugh, but I certainly don't want to be in Thingy Blah Blah 3, if you know what I mean.

Most of the time when I'm hired for a part, I think there has been some mistake.

I believe in God, but I am not sure to trust Him so much.

In France we have a law which doesn't allow the press to publish a photo that you didn't approve. It lets the paparazzi take the picture, but if they publish this picture, you have the choice to sue the newspaper. So me, I always sued them.

I never want to do the same things twice. I like surprises.

I knew that I didn't have a career in the oboe, so that's why I gave it up. I did have one success though. I was in the kitchen of my parents' house and I was giving them a little concert. I think they were devastated by my level of playing the oboe. But then I noticed that the cows in the field next to my house started coming towards me. So I now know I can charm cows with my oboe!

ISHI: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kiss the Bride, Strictly Sexual, Latter Days, Chance

PIF: Had a mixed Christian and Jewish upbringing.

In 2001, at the age of just 24, Amber directed, wrote, produced and starred in her own movie called Chance (2002). It was presented at the Sundance Film Festival in 2002.

Is a vegetarian.

Wrote a comic book based on the characters of Willow and Tara as part of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic books series.

Q: I`m not going to throw up or over-exercise myself into oblivion to look like a model. People tell me, `You`d work all the time if you just lost twenty pounds.` What am I going to do, cut off my head?!

I admit it: I`m a freak who sits obsessively in front of my computer typing my name into Yahoo Search over and over again. I`m a closet Amberholic. Please help me!

[On being perceived as "heavy"] I have breasts and hips and I am very happy that they are part of me. I weigh one-hundred eighteen and I am five foot four. If you saw me in real life, you would think I was on the thin side.

I think when I cease to go to the bathroom, then I can call myself famous.

I`m really klutzy. I`m always tripping over stuff. I`m always trying to not walk into the camera.

I would love to develop my career on both sides of the camera in the way Woody Allen has done down the years.

I actually saw a ghost when I was sitting out on the porch of this beautiful house we were staying at in North Carolina. I was doing some writing, and I look up, and I see this woman in white go by, and I thought, `That`s weird.`
