Not everyone will like this but like much of the Fall 2009 collection, I love this gown. It's just so different from what many designers do, especially for red carpet events. The cut is sexy, but the pink stones make it almost other worldly. Love it.

Flowy, youthful, colorful, graceful. So many words to describe this lovely Elie Saab gown. One of my favorite runway gowns worn by one of my favorite fashionistas. Perfection.

Lupita was a breakout star this year in both film and fashion. She took risks with color and this was my favorite of her gowns this year. The color makes her glow and the cut is uber flattering.

This caped gown Kate wore at the Oscars is everything I expect from her. She oozes old Hollywood glamour but with a modern twist.

This one is all about the color. Who says redheads can't wear pink. Emma looks beautiful. Young and flirty and fun. The cut is modern and trendy and the color pops. Nicely done.

I have no clue who this woman is. But in a gown like that you stand out. The cut. The color. The glam factor. All of it is a perfect 10.

It may seem like just a simple dress but it's Gemma who pulls it off. Her posture is regal and her accessories glam it up. The cut is perfect and the color divine. This is an example of minimalistic done right.

Emma's style has changed dramatically in the last year. Where she used to rock sporty, colorful, teenish mini dresses and frou frou princess gowns, now she aims for classic yet trendy. This is the perfect example of her taking something we've seen before and making it her own. Love it.

Teyonah Parris

Wearing Christian Siriano

Maybe it's the joy on her face (or the color) but this dress makes me smile. It would have been beautiful in black, or red, or emerald green, but instead Siriano picked this bright color and pattern. It was a risk that paid off. I have no clue who Teyonah Parris is, but I remembered her for this dress.
