Daniels’ films are frequently hot and bothered, highly pulpy explorations of important topics, ones that give in to a Dallas/Dynasty-like veneer of sleaze and suds more often than not, and The Paperboy is no different. I was caught off-guard when this movie started without any production logo which seemed weird to me, but then right when they started talking a production logo showed up with the dialogue in the background. OK, that's just bad editing as someth"
