I must confess, I expected a lot from this film. The directors Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini had previously made American Splendor, a very original film that was a great surprise to me. Having this in mind plus the help of Scarlett Johansson in the main role elevated my expactations towards The Nanny Diaries.

Even though I didn't have some really high expectations for this movie, unfortunately, it still turned out to be disappointing. " Director: Shari Springer Berman & Robert Pulcini Their 4th movie My 2nd movie watched from the director Just when I think I've seen all of what 2007 had to offer my wife introduces me to this movie. It's nothing special but certainly better than I expected. Sure, filled with lots of cliches, but Johansson and Linney form a nice antagonist chemistry and the ending is sad and sweet.
