I sadly missed the chance to watch Swallow on the theatre when it hit a film festival in İstanbul while I was there, but I've been keeping an eye on this movie since it wrapped and I talked non-stop about how much I wanted to be able to see it. " Director: Carlo Mirabella-Davis His 2nd Movie My 2nd movie watched from the director A movie that is so lovely to watch - cinematography, set design, costumes, it's all just so nice and seems perfect, which is of course the point, as we watch someone with the 'perfect life' find solace with a strange hobby. I really like the first act but kept watching hoping it would get crazy or she would descend into madness. Something more exciting that what actually happens. Added to Lists: Top Ten"

"24.5 The first half was interesting but rudimentary at the same time, kinda screams first world problems and the left wing politics manages to seep through especially by the end where it becomes basically propaganda. A lesser Mother! A good performance by the lead actress but a Thelma and Louise level caricature of other characters. Damn, when I watch older movies somebody just might call another man a sambo outta nowhere and when I watch modern movies it might as well be a Planned Parenthood 9"
