"A California stockbroker Jacob is arrested and charged for a fatal DUI accident, and on his lawyer's advice, takes a plea deal which sees him sentenced to 16 months in prison. While incarcerated, he becomes involved with a violent white supremacist gang. This movie is a dark character piece. "Prison drama with good performances but nothing really new and suprising. "
"First viewing - Nov. 17th First off you should know that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is the best reason to watch Shot Caller. I've enjoyed his work elsewhere, but I'm glad he's at the center of this film because he really delivers. The story unfolds in a way that helps you get to the bottom of who he is and why he does what he does, and isn't afraid to force him to face his consequences. I really dug it overall, and I'm glad my friend at work told me to check it out. Currently streaming on Amazon Pr"
