"First viewing - Sept. 12th Set It Off deserves credit for clearly communicating why these women would pull off their heists by grounding their motivations in reality. I thought the characters were well-realized and the story was well-told. There's even a kinda fun moment where they all sit around a table goofing on The Godfather which will likely stick with me. And the film maintains a realistic approach for the most part through the ending. It's not great, but it's absolutely worth seeing and "
