It has been a while since I saw this flick and I thought it was time for a re-watch. Actually, I’m rather surprised by the low ratings here on Listal and on IMDb as I thought it was a pretty good movie. A simple, plain, straightforward story that can surprise anybody like it did to me. Frankly to say I thought it was some pure chick comedy and yes it was but little more than that. This marks the point in my viewing career when I first realized I had a loathing for Renee Zellwegger.
Somehow they made this look appealing in the trailer. Christ, it does have an appealing supporting cast, what the hell went wrong here?

"First viewing - Aug. 5th I remember being mildly interested in seeing Nurse Betty during its theatrical run, but I suspect there were too many other priorities for me at the time. I've seen generally positive feedback on it over the years, however, so I figured I'd give it a look. And it's solidly entertaining thanks largely to the talents of the cast.
