His ex-partner, learning of the plan, places a massive bounty on his head as the race begins. Rating: 6.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? I meant to watch this a long time ago, but it somehow eluded me. It's from the director of The Expendables 4, so I wanted to check it out, plus the recent Gran Turismo got me "

"A local street-racer partners with a rich and arrogant business associate, only to find himself framed by his colleague and sent to prison for the death of his friend. After he gets out, he makes his way out to California for a race to get revenge. “To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this flick but since it was available on Netflix , I thought I might as well check it out. Well, at least, it wasn't a shameless copycat of 'The Fast and The Furious' but that's probably the only positive thing about this movie. Seriously, to make a movie about a video game is usually a bad idea but to make a movie about a race video game was even worse. You know, or maybe I just like movies about dudes who "

While the movie received bad reviews, the movie did grossed $203 million at the worldwide box office on a small budget. Three years later, nothing has happen and it seems like unlikely that a sequel is going to happen."

" With a history of rather bad film video game adaptations, Need for Speed comes across as one of the better ones so far. It might not have a proper story, and it's certainly full of clichés in the plot, character development and overall film language. But Need for Speed really delivers where it's supposed to deliver. It delivers speed. So by that, Need for Speed is an entertaining and thrilling experience. By completely dodging CGI and focusing on real stunts and effects, you really feel the i"
