Back in those days, Marlon Brando’s career had already been rather chaotic and this flick must have been his most controversial one. This movie contains a REAL RAPE. This movie should be banned and all movies Marlon Brando ever did are stained. They are unwatchable now and pure trash to me now.

"Despite the disgusting content that occurred behind the scenes of Last Tango in Paris, I thought this was a very good film and I thought the plot was nothing, yet everything. This doesn't mean Bertolucci or Brando had to treat the wonderful Maria Schneider like they did; it still would've been just as amazing if they didn't harm her. Jean-Pierre Léaud was gorgeous as always."
