“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since there was a decent cast involved and since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, the most annoying thing about this movie is the way it displayed how the film industry (at least, in the US) has become completely bankrupt creatively speaking. I mean, if they start to remake such B features from the 90’s, I’m afraid they are seriously hopeless. Another weird thing with this movie was that it was the last movie Elliot Page made before his transition (in fact, he has made only one movie since then) and it was just so weird to see him, well, when he was still a girl. Anyway, coming back on the movie itself, just like the original version, the concept was just terribly daft. Es” read more

The plot is still as unconvincing and dumb as before, only the mullets have gone. Ludicrous dialogue and lacking in thrills makes this a remake that didn't need resuscitating."

The concept and story was fine for a movie in 1990, but didn't really work for me now. I had a hard time believing that there was no research done anywhere on near-death experiences available online that they could have referenced instead of making it up as they went along. And, why are they special? No one that has had a NDE has woken up with improved abilities, nor were haunted.
And, their planning was terrible. That it was such an ordeal to resuscitate the person every time makes you wonder how these fools ever got into medical school in the first place, si” read more
