"First viewing - Sept. 12th "Savage" Steve Holland is a national treasure, and I'll not hear a word against him. I've always loved One Crazy Summer and I used to watch Eek! the Cat all the time growing up, and had I known he made Better Off Dead I would've watched it a long damn time ago. Those who care deeply about the technical aspects of filmmaking might be justified in hating on this movie, but there are so many wonderful jokes that hit the mark and the animated sequences are inspired.
