" Back in early 2000's, I finally gave M.A.S.H. the movie a watch, despite growing up as a fan of the television series. After getting so used to the TV version, it took me a bit before I started becoming comfortable with the feel of the film, which is more raw, not as tightly focused on "preaching" the anti-war message as it's small screen counterpart. However, once I began adjusting my viewing senses to more readily absorb the movie's integrity, it's brilliance of creativity, "wartime opera"

" Notes: Sometimes, you keep hearing about a movie, everyone seems to agree that it is a great classic, you get some high hopes, expecting to watch something truly amazing. But then, you watch the damned thing and, as it turns out, you don’t connect at all with the movie. Well, unfortunately, that’s what happened for me with this movie. I mean, sure, I thought it was not bad but I seriously couldn’t see what was so amazing about it. First of all, I have to admit that I was very young when "

"Robert Altman is one of those directors in which either you consider him a cinematic genius or find him frustratingly dull. Everyone can agree that the film that made Altman a household name is "M*A*S*H," a dark comedy disguised as an anti-war film. “Hawkeye” Pierce (Donald Sutherland) and “Trapper” John McIntyre (Elliott Gould) are roguish soldiers recruited for the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in South Korea, who crack jokes, drink beer, play golf, pull pranks and sleep with women dur"
